Un saludo a todos los que hacen vida en la plataforma de HiveBlog y a los amantes del hermoso arte de la costura 💙 me alegra compartir con ustedes la elaboración de una linda franela manga larga para bebe confeccionada en tela de algodón, en un sencillo paso a paso les quiero enseñar como elaborar esta tierna ropita para los consentidos de la casa. Este un modelo básico con la diferencia que lo quise adornar con esos volantes que están muy de moda alrededor del cuello.

This is a basic model with the difference that I wanted to decorate it with those ruffles that are very fashionable around the neck.

PASO A PASO / STEP BY STEP

Comenzamos con este nuevo proyecto de costura que en esta oportunidad es elaborar una franela manga larda para bebe. Para esto lo primero que tenemos que hacer es tener a mano todos los patrones o moldes necesarios para realizar todas las piezas para la confección de la misma. Las primeras piezas en cortar son la parte delantera y trasera de la franela talla 0.

We start with this new sewing project that this time is to make a long sleeve flannel for baby. For this, the first thing we have to do is to have at hand all the patterns or molds needed to make all the pieces for the making of it. The first pieces to cut are the front and back of the size 0 flannel.

Seguidamente de la misma manera vamos a cortar las mangas que son dos. Colocamos el patrón sobre la tela después cortamos.

Then in the same way we will cut the sleeves, which are two. We place the pattern on the fabric and then cut.

Esta pieza que se muestra en la imagen es la que utilizo para realizar los volantes en los diferentes tipo de ropa que realizo dependiendo del ancho que los quiero, como saben la técnica de ellos es que deben cortarse de esta manera para que la pieza nos quede con vuelo.

This piece shown in the image is the one I use to make the ruffles in the different types of clothes I make depending on the width I want them, as you know the technique of them is that they must be cut in this way so that the piece is with flight.

Terminadas todas las piezas podemos proceder a coser nuestra pieza. Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es cerrar la franela por la parte de los hombros. Seguidamente abrimos y colocamos por todo el contorno del cuello el volante y cosemos.

Once all the pieces are finished we can proceed to sew our piece. The first thing we have to do is to close the flannel on the shoulders. Then we open and place the ruffle around the neck and sew.

Ya fijado el volante sobre la pieza le realizamos un dobladillo decorativo por todo el contorno del volante.

Once the ruffle is fixed on the piece, we make a decorative hem all around the ruffle.

Ahora para culminar con el cuello vamos a colocar una tira que cortamos con anticipación y la cosemos de igual manera que cosemos el sesgo.

Now to finish with the collar we are going to place a strip that we cut in advance and sew it in the same way we sewed the bias binding.

Después le toca el turno a las mangas, abrimos la pieza que cortamos para las mangas, le buscamos la mitad y la colocamos en la costura de unión de los hombros, fijamos con alfileres y cosemos.

Then it is the turn of the sleeves, we open the piece we cut for the sleeves, find the middle and place it on the shoulder seam, fix with pins and sew.

Colocamos la franela cara con cara encontradas por el derecho, fijamos con alfileres para coser por los costados y así cerrar la franela.

Para colocar las bandas que van ubicadas en los puños de la franela, Cortamos una tira de 6 centímetros de ancho y el largo debe ser un poco mas pequeño que el contorno del puño de la manga para que al coserla la frunza un poco ya que este es la función de las bandas que elaboramos con las mismas telas, ademas de decorar cumplen un poco la función del elástico.

Por ultimo y para darle un acabado muy hermoso a nuestra prenda vamos a realizar en el ruedo un dobladillo con un hilo que sobresalga en la tela.

De esta manera queda terminado nuestro proyecto de costura como fue la confección de una franela manga larga para bebe que fácilmente podemos realizar en unas tallas mas grandes. Espero se animen a realizarla y así puedan elaborar las prendas de vestir de los mas pequeños y consentidos de la casa.
