Amigurumi #116: Kiara Lightbringer versión 2

Estos meses estoy rediseñando algunos amigurumis que tejí, ya sean versiones anteriores a los cuales realizo algunos cambios o aumentando el tamaño a los de versión pequeña. Si todo sale bien, para fin de año tendré la colección de amigurumis de tamaño mediano. Por estos meses también vendrán algunos amiguitos que se fueron perdiendo durante el camino.

These months I am redesigning some amigurumis that I knitted, either previous versions to which I am making some changes or increasing the size of the small version. If all goes well, by the end of the year I will have a collection of medium sized amigurumis. During these months I will also have some amigurumis that were lost along the way.

Hay personajes que nos motivan a aplicar los conocimientos que tenemos en ese instante para luego ver el resultado. ¡Veamos cómo fue esto!.

There are characters that motivate us to apply the knowledge we have at that moment and then see the result. Let's see how this went!

A tejer/ To weave:

Se comenzó el tejido por los pies, piernas y luego se unió con cadenas y continuó tejiendo el cuerpo. El intercambio de color fue según la ropa del personaje. Se tejió los brazos y unió al cuerpo. Luego se colocó un soporte a manera de columna vertebral, para que quede firme la cabeza. Se continuó agregando más detalles en las mangas y botas.

The weaving started with the feet, legs and then joined with chains and continued weaving the body. The colour interchange was according to the clothes of the character. The arms were woven and joined to the body. Then a support was placed as a spine, to hold the head firmly in place. More details were added to the sleeves and boots.

En un inicio quise tejer el vestido como una falta tipo Rebeca (Sailor moon), luego me di cuenta que los pliegues salían demasiado delgado por eso cambié de planes y tejí dos filas de medios puntos altos por color.

At first I wanted to knit the dress as a cardigan (Sailor moon), but then I realised that the pleats were too thin, so I changed my plans and knitted two rows of half double crochet per colour.

Luego se elaboró el escudo, espada y diadema. Para los dos primeros se utilizó un plástico reciclado, sobre todo para darle firmeza a las piezas. La diadema si fue tejida a crochet por completo.

Then the shield, sword and diadem were made.For the first two a recycled plastic was used, mainly to give firmness to the pieces. The headband was crocheted completely.

A pesar que la tejí otra vez, se siente como si fuese totalmente distinta a la versión anterior. Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, debido a que plasma las técnicas que aprendí durante este tiempo. Sí, cada vez que veo un muñeco tejido, veo los tipos y formas de las puntadas y si desconozco algo, investigo y aprendo.

Even though I knitted it again, it feels like it is totally different from the previous version.I am very happy with the result, because it embodies the techniques I learned during this time. Yes, every time I see a knitted doll, I look at the types and shapes of the stitches and if I don't know something, I research and learn.
