Amigurumi #83: Chavito

El chavo del 8, fue el protagonista de la serie número 1 de habla hispana “El Chavo”, dirigida por Roberto Gómez Bolaños. Esta serie es mexicana y fue emitida desde los años 80´s hasta la fecha. Dirigida hacia el público infantil, pero quienes han crecido junto ella aún siguen viéndola.

El chavo del 8, was the main character of the series number 1 of Spanish language "El Chavo", directed by Roberto Gómez Bolaños. This series is Mexican and was broadcast from the 80's to date. It is aimed at children, but those who have grown up with her still watch it.

Volviendo a la serie, el Chavo junto a la Chilindrina y Quico andan alborotando la vecindad con sus ocurrencias. Los personajes son niños de 8 años y están en la etapa de adquirir conocimientos, por lo que van a la Escuela. Cierto, uno de mis capítulos favoritos es cuando Don Ramón (papá de la Chilindrina) se esconde en la Escuela y justo el profesor Girafales tenía un asunto urgente y salió, dejando encargado a las clases a Don Ramón, quien da una clase magistral a los alumnos, explicándoles cosas de la vida…al final de la clase Don Ramón recita un poema con mucha drama, el profesor Girafales justo llega a verlo y lo aplaude diciendo ¡Bravo, bravísimo!.

Returning to the series, El Chavo, together with Chilindrina and Quico, are making a fuss about the neighborhood with their quips. The characters are children of 8 years old and they are in the stage of acquiring knowledge, so they go to the School. True, one of my favorite chapters is when Don Ramon (Chilindrina's father) hides in the School and just the professor Girafales had an urgent matter and left the classes in charge of Don Ramon, who gives a master class to the students, explaining them things of life ... at the end of the class Don Ramon recites a poem with a lot of drama, Professor Girafales just comes to see him and applauds him saying Bravo, bravísimo!

A tejer:

Para el tejido seguí el video tutorial de "Zombiegurumi" (enlace al final). Utilizando hilo 100% algodón mide 25.5 centímetros de altura. Se inició tejiendo la clásica gorrita, para esto se utilizó la técnica para cambiar de color al estilo trapesty (figura 1). La cabeza tiene una forma particular por lo que quedó bien al segundo intento (figura 2). Aunque no parezca el cuerpecillo es también algo complicado. Las piernas y los zapatos fueron lo más sencillos de tejer (figura3).

For the weaving I followed the "Zombiegurumi" video tutorial (link at the end). Using 100% cotton yarn is 25.5 centimeters high. We started by weaving the classic beanie, for this we used the technique to change the color in the trapesty style (figure 1). The head has a particular shape so it looks good at the second attempt (figure 2). Although it doesn't look like the little body, it is also somewhat complicated. The legs and shoes were the simplest to weave (figure 3).

Si bien el short los bordados del polo y mangas no fue complicado, para los brazos y las mangas si lo fueron (figura 4). Cabe resaltar que este amigurumi lleva estructura en el interior, esto para una mejor articulación. Para los ojos se utilizó fieltro blanco y para el centro pintura acrílica negra. Las cejas, pestañas, boca y parte de la nariz fueron bordados con hilo negro. El cabello fue tejido, esto para que se ajuste con la gorrita (figura 5) y también para darle un toque personal, la verdad es que me dolían los dedos tanto bordar.

While the shorts, polo and sleeve embroidery were not complicated, the arms and sleeves were (figure 4). It is worth mentioning that this amigurumi has a structure inside, this for a better articulation. White felt was used for the eyes and black acrylic paint for the center. The eyebrows, eyelashes, mouth and part of the nose were embroidered with black thread. The hair was woven, this to fit with the cap (figure 5) and also to give a personal touch, the truth is that my fingers hurt so much embroidery.
