Como sabrán, el país donde vivo está pasando por una de las peores crisis política de la historia, eso sumado a las consecuencias que dejará la pandemia mundial. Todo comenzó la semana pasada tras la vacancia al presidente de la República (por la supuesta “permanente incapacidad moral”, término cuyo significado no está claro y aún está siendo evaluado) y dado esta crisis, no faltan quienes se aprovecharon y crearon leyes en desmedro del país. Lo poco que se ha avanzado (en estos últimos años) en temas de educación y medio ambiente, se vino abajo en menos de una semana.

As you may know, the country where I live is going through one of the worst political crises in history, and that is in addition to the consequences that the global pandemic will leave behind. It all began last week following the vacancy of the president of the Republic (owing to the supposed "permanent moral incapacity", a term whose meaning is not clear and is still being assessed) and given this crisis, there is no shortage of those who took advantage of it and created laws to the detriment of the country. The little progress made (in recent years) in education and environmental issues collapsed in less than a week.

Profesionales y estudiantes salieron a las calles (de manera pacífica) exigiendo que realmente se investigue sobre el significado de “Incapacidad moral permanente”, por la que vacaron al presidente, pero aún no hay respuesta. La marcha era pacífica, hasta que los policías tiraron bombas lacrimógenas sin razón y dispararon a todo quien esté cerca de ellos. Ese actuar consecutivo de los policías, trajo como consecuencia el día domingo (ayer), la muerte de 2 estudiantes de 22 y 24 años. Es allí cuando los medios de comunicación recién transmiten lo que estaba ocurriendo, porque antes ellos no enfocaban las marchas, desinformando a la audiencia. Y como esta generación es de las redes sociales, nos dimos cuenta cuánto “poder” tienen los intereses personales. El gobierno usurpador renunció y mañana juramentará un nuevo presidente. Solo exigimos: cárcel para los culpables de los asesinatos, que se elimine la inmunidad parlamentaria e “investigación” a los gobernantes, que se anulen las leyes abusivas y una constitución clara y sin vacíos legales.

Professionals and students took to the streets (peacefully) demanding that there be a real investigation into the meaning of "permanent moral incapacity", for which the president was removed, but there is still no answer. The march was peaceful, until the police threw tear gas bombs for no reason and shot at anyone near them. This consecutive action by the police led to the death of two students, 22 and 24 years old, on Sunday (yesterday). It is there when the media just broadcast what was happening, because before they did not focus the marches, misinforming the audience. And as this generation is from social networks, we realised how much "power" personal interests have. The usurper government resigned and tomorrow a new president will be sworn in. We only demand: Prison for those guilty of the murders, the removal of parliamentary immunity and "investigation" of the rulers, the annulment of abusive laws and a clear constitution with no loopholes.

A tejer:

Para esta chompa utilicé fibra de alpaca, lana acrílica, crochet, tijera y aguja lanera. A diferencia de la Barbie a este muñeco no se le puede sacar la cabeza, por lo que se tejió cadenetas del tamaño del perímetro de la cabeza, siguiente vuelta un punto en cada punto. Luego tres rondas de 2 puntos y un aumento y 3 puntos y un aumento. Las mangas fueron tejidas con medios puntos altos y en los bordes al igual que el cuello se utilizó el punto elástico (figura 4).

Once it reached the right length, the elastic stitch was woven into the border, i.e. one row with high stitches and the next row with a high stitch in front and one behind the fabric (figure 3). The sleeves were knitted with high half-stitches and the elastic stitch was used on the edges as well as on the collar (figure 4).
