Saludos querida comunidad, hace un tiempo compartí con ustedes unos amigurumis de Capibara que hice para llaveros y me fue muy bien porque vendí 3, aquellos los hice con hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 1.25mm, lo cual permite hacer figuras con detalles mas pequeños pero por el mismo motivo llevan mas tiempo de elaboración y es mas exigente a nivel físico para mi, es por eso que quise hacer de nuevo un Capibara de tamaño pequeño pero con lana y ganchillo mas gruesa, de manera tal que pudiera reducir el tiempo de elaboración pensando en el beneficio de comercialización, es decir a menor tiempo puedo hacer más pero conservando la calidad y cariño con que hago mis trabajos

De este modo llegué a este resultado que hoy les presento, un amigurumi de capibara hecho sin costuras, es decir, la cabeza, el cuerpo y las patas se hacer juntas y no por separado espero les guste tanto como a mi 🥰

Greetings, dear community! Some time ago, I shared some capybara amigurumi keychains I made, and they did very well—I sold three! I made those with acrylic yarn and a 1.25mm crochet hook, which allows for smaller details, but also makes them more time-consuming and physically demanding for me. That's why I wanted to make another small capybara, this time with thicker yarn and a thicker hook, so I could reduce the production time and make them more marketable. In other words, with less time, I can make more while maintaining the quality and care I put into my work.

This is how I arrived at the result I'm presenting today: a seamless capybara amigurumi. The head, body, and legs are all made together, not separately. I hope you like it as much as I do! 🥰

Proceso / Process

Para este amigurumi usé lana acrílica y ganchillo de 3.5mm, comencé por la cabeza con 5 cadenas de base, sobre estas repetí 1aumento y 4 puntos bajos para obtener 12, luego hice 6 aumentos por 2 hileras pero ubicados solo en las esquinas para obtener 24, hice 4 hileras de puntos bajos, después 3 disminuciones por 2 hileras ubicadas solo en una de las esquinas para obtener 18, para finalizar la cabeza hice una hilera con 6 disminuciones para obtener 12.

For this amigurumi I used acrylic yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. I started with the head, making 5 base chains. On these, I repeated 1 increase and 4 single crochet stitches to get 12. Then I made 6 increases for 2 rows, but only in the corners, to get 24. I made 4 rows of single crochet stitches, then 3 decreases for 2 rows, only in one of the corners, to get 18. To finish the head, I made a row with 6 decreases to get 12.

Para el cuerpo continué haciendo una hilera con 6 aumentos para obtener 18, en la segunda hilera hice 6 puntos bajos, 1 punto Puff con marrón oscuro, 6 puntos bajos, 1 puntos puff con marrón oscuro y 4 puntos bajos, la tercera y cuarta hilera las hice normal con 18 puntos bajos, luego la 5 hilera la hice igual a la segunda es decir con los puntos puff en marrón oscuro, ya para finalizar el cuerpo hice 6 disminuciones por 2 hileras. Rellené antes de cerrar.

For the body, I continued making a row with 6 increases to get 18. In the second row, I made 6 single crochet stitches, 1 puff stitch with dark brown, 6 single crochet stitches, 1 puff stitch with dark brown, and 4 single crochet stitches. The third and fourth rows were made normally with 18 single crochet stitches. Then, the 5th row was made the same as the second, that is, with puff stitches in dark brown. To finish the body, I made 6 decreases for 2 rows. I stuffed it before closing.

Para las orejas con lana marrón oscuro levanté 1 cadena, 2 medio punto alto y 1 punto deslizado, bordé los ojos y la boca con hilo negro. Para hacer la naranja que coloqué en la cabeza solo hice 8 puntos bajos en un anillo y 2 hileras de puntos bajos, rellené y cerré con la misma hebra y aguja llanera, para el tallo con hilo verde hice dos cadenas dobles y las cosí a la parte superior de la naranja.

For the ears, using dark brown yarn, I chained 1, made 2 half double crochets, and 1 slip stitch. I embroidered the eyes and mouth with black yarn. To make the orange that I placed on the head, I simply made 8 single crochets in a ring and 2 rows of single crochets. I stuffed it and closed it with the same yarn and a crochet hook. For the stem, using green yarn, I made two double chains and sewed them to the top of the orange.
