Lindo día y bendecido inicio de semana para todas(os) en esta hermosa comunidad de @Needleworkmonday. Hoy en este lunes de aguja les quuero mostrar un trabajo poco común en la manera de hacerlo ya que aunque no soy tan obsesiva con las medidas y el uso de patrones al momento de hacer una pieza, tampoco es que me gusta cortar sin la seguridad debida.

Pues me tocó hacer algo así, sin patrón ni idea clara de cómo se hace, por lo que pido disculpas a las costureras de profesión y pasión, pero no tenía tiempo para pensar mucho y solo dije lanzaré la tela en la mesa y vamos a sacar esto por mi paz mental. Y es que mi hija @lucianav necesitaba un vestuario para utilizar en un maravilloso concurso que se está llevando acá en Hive y cosa rara en ella se decidió por lo que quería cuando ya tenía que publicar casi.

Today on this needlework Monday I want to show you an unusual work in the way to do it because although I'm not so obsessive with the measurements and the use of patterns when making a piece, it is not that I like to cut without the proper security.

Well, I had to do something like this, without a pattern or clear idea of how to do it, so I apologize to the seamstresses of profession and passion, but I didn't have time to think much and I just said I'll throw the fabric on the table and let's get this out for my peace of mind. And the thing is that my daughter @lucianav needed a costume to use in a wonderful contest that is going on here at Hive and rare thing for her she decided on what she wanted when she already had to publish almost.

Entonces me mostró lo que necesitaba y se fue a mis telas, encontró dos trozos de telas exactamente iguales y con el diseño adecuado, además una para el fondo. Suertuda la niña jajaja.
Then she showed me what she needed and went to my fabrics, she found two pieces of fabrics exactly the same and with the right design, plus one for the background. Lucky girl hahaha.

Decidí comenzar con lo que vi más complicado, la parte superior que son dos piezas iguales solapadas una con la otra en el busto hasta la cintura y la parte de atrás recta para colocar unos tiros. Cosí las sisas, en la parte trasera coloque un poco de elástico y pegué costados.
I decided to start with what I saw more complicated, the top which are two equal pieces overlapping each other in the bust to the waist and the back straight to place some straps. I sewed the armholes, put some elastic in the back and glued the sides.

La falda era una tipo A sencilla sin mucho vuelo, entonces doblé la tela como se debe y corte al largo necesario y corté cintura. No lleva costuras a los lados, solo cortar la forma. Le cosí un forro rosado cortado exactamente igual ya que la tela es un poco transparente.
The skirt was a simple A-line skirt without much flounce, so I folded the fabric as it should be folded and cut to the necessary length and cut the waist. No seams on the sides, just cut the shape. I sewed a pink lining cut exactly the same since the fabric is a bit see-through.

Luego que la falda tiene el forro pegado pasé a coser la parte superior a la falda y le coloqué un poco de elástico delgado, para simular un medio ruche y fuese más cómodo al ponerse.
After the skirt has the lining attached, I sewed the top part of the skirt and put some thin elastic on it, to simulate a half ruching and to make it more comfortable to wear.

En la parte de los hombros arruché un poco la terminación superior de cada pieza y le coloque unos tiros que luego ajuste a la parte de la espalda.

Decoré la parte de los hombros con unas flores artificiales rosadas ya que la temática del concurso es Naturaleza y así completamos mi parte en esta creación.

On the shoulders I ruffled the top of each piece a bit and attached some straps that I then adjusted to the back.

I decorated the shoulders with some pink artificial flowers since the theme of the contest is Nature and that's how I completed my part in this creation.

Mi hija completo su outfit con unos accesorios hecho por ella misma, con material reciclado y todo quedó muy lindo en su sesión de fotos para el concurso. Esa noche quede sumamente cansada pero se logró el propósito. Le dije que no mostrara el vestido hasta no hacer los cierres de costura en algunos lugares que faltaban jajaja, pero son detalles mínimos.
My daughter completed her outfit with some accessories made by herself, with recycled material and everything looked very nice in her photo shoot for the contest. That night I was extremely tired but the purpose was achieved. I told her not to show the dress until I made the sewing closures in some places that were missing hahaha, but they are minor details.

Para ser algo improvisado y de último momento, te quedó bastante bien. Me gust´mucho el estampado de la tela. Que bueno que pudiste apoyar a tu hija en ese concurso. Saludos!

Que bendición contar con una mamá como tú. Cada madre es especial y tiene su propio don, pero si saben coser eso les da un plus. Jajajaja.
Te quedó muy bello y la textura de la tela es increíble. Se ve súper ligero y eso le da mucho movimiento.
Quedó hermoso.
