Hello Hive

So I was invited to a modeling school for an interview in other to find out whether i have the potentials and physiques needed to become a fashion model. Well a gave it quite a thought because I believed that modelling might bear some acts of indecency with dressing types and my church mind would permit me to dress in certain ways.
Am just gonna set some T&C with whatever happens there and anything I can't cope with won't be hard for me to quite. That settled.

I remembered that I haven't made any sexy dresses or tops that will be fitted and bring out my curves 😂😂😂😂😂 from there I decided to try my hands at this crop top with some pieces of fabrics I have.

I wasn't gonna make just any top, I want to practise something with the recent skills am acquiring in a fashion school (I enrolled in a fashion school to learn more about pattern making and method of cloth design, am not planning to remain a mediocre at the free hand method of cloth designs alone. I want to learn more about fashion and hopefully pick up a career in that line)

This is the making process.

I made a pattern of my basic block with three darts, waist side and mid-armhole darts

Next I closed the Armhole and slashed the waist dart to give me an opening and wider spread of the waist dart.

This pattern was then used to cut my piece of fabric to a half length

The back block was just a normal bodice with waist dart.

Now I have a front bodice with larger waist measurement which I gathered into a box pleat here.

Next was an extra 2 inched band I added to this half length crop top and there I got my jean skirt with some embroidery that matches the color of my top.

I promised not to talk about my hair in this post, but I find it so easy to make new clothes than sit down to weave my hair, even if the salon can help out with that, I just need a driving force to learn how to take care of my hair.

And because its natural and keeps drinking, I haven't found any ease in combing or doing anything with it.

The hair is part of a woman's beauty and I find keeping this difficult.

Will I be a good model 😂😂
