Tutorial DIY of my lovely smiley top
Hello Hive and needlweorkers
Happy new week and lovely Monday to us. Am always excited about Monday a new day and opportunity to begin a resourceful and productive new week
For today am a bit sluggish because of the a little holdup with my health, I didn't want to miss out of the fun of all the lovely creative work that will flood the community today.
I made a simple 30mins smiley top from a left over fabric.
Its an off shoulder top sewn from this smiley fabric mixed with organza.
I made this as flexible as possible such that the shapes can be transformed as desired. You can think of pulling it up, using a waist band or tucking in like a crop top. Although am still adjusting this modifications for better fitting.
Cutting
I used my chest circumference and an off shoulder sleeve. The waist and full length.
Note that all measurement are in excess. One can ad like 5imches and above to all round circumference measurements
You can see the position of the waist chest and full length
The sleeve
The sleeve was cut using the same size as armhole of the top
Stitching
I started with joining the side seams fixed the sleeves next then move on to put an elastic band round the chest circumference.
I thought of putting elastic all round the waist and sleeve but I was short of these in the house and that what became of my top for now.
I may still want to add further finishing according to my fashion taste 😂😂😁
Wow, you made a whole shirt in 30 minutes? You're talented! I could never do that.
!BEER

This kind is really easy and when you practice more it reduces chances of making mistake.
And in one stitch you are through with it.
