TUTORIAL ON HOW TO FIX AN INVISIBLE ZIP PERFECTLY
Good morning lovely people, I believe we all had a splendid night.
I'm here this morning to share with you the method I used in fixing my invisible zip, it looks very neat and simple, so am sharing this juDt in case my fellow needlworker might like the method and adopt it.
I know there are several ways of doing that which can also bring a perfect result but I felt this is simpler that's why I decided to bring it here to share with my lovely people.
Recently, men uses zip instead of collar because there are some designs you will love to do and requires the front to be plain, and thats what invented the invisible zip.
There are many challenges in fixing this perfectly which am also part of the victims, not until I sat down and tried severally before I became good at it.
It is called invisible, so it is expected not to be seen but it has bin a very big issue cause most people fixed it and we can still see the zip.
Though there is a machine and a foot dedicated to fix such zip but how do we that are not buoyant or capable financially to get such machine achieve the same result with our industrial machine or black head machine?
Here are the tips and steps to follow
After taping the neck, leaving where you want to put the zip then you can start by placing the invisible zip on the front part of the cloth, it is advisable to use a long zip.
You place it and sew not too close to the mouth, then you do the same to the back, make sure it's straight and correspond with the front.
At this point it is not properly fixed because we can still see the zip and it's set to be invisible, and that's the level I can attain using industrial machine so I take it to my black head machine to finish it where the foot is tiny and can easily walk on the zip though you have to be extra conscious not to sew on the zip itself.
Then I took it back to my industrial machine for the finishing touches.
You did this beautifully. I will have to try this, although I am blessed to have an invisible zipper foot that works well. !BBH
