Mazunte Build – Visual Concrete Pour

avatar

Sure, sure, it’s our immense project of pouring the bond-beam that occupied most of our attention, worry, and anticipation… all until our skilled neighbors helped us turn that concept into something a lot more concrete, in just under three hours. But that didn’t mean we were all done with concreting… Far from it. Half a week later we were in for another “smaller” pour, to put a beam onto the tires tapering down to the ground on both sides.

For that pour we did not need any outside help, which meant we had to do all the work on our own. Our neighbor lady Kris, who had promised to take some fantastic pics of our big pour, but in the end missed out on it, stopped by for some documentation. The result were these truly incredible photos, which I just HAD to share, while giving @redhawkrising all the credit. Check out her introduction post!

I’m trying to get her to join Hive, I just managed to get her onboard! as she would have has tons of cool stuff to share, being into any visual arts, from painting to tattoos, to photography, as well as mouth watering dishes, cats, and other great content. Though I think I’m going to have to set up her account for her. Let me see if I can remember how I did it way back when… Oh no, it was the first front-end of the old chain, now part of the Empire of the Sun. If anyone wants to send me any suggestions or links regarding starting out on Hive, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you HiveInvite! It would be awesome to get this wonderful artist @redhawkrising on-board.

Anyway, here are her some of her pics of our small, but not any less exhausting pour:
