Drawing Based on Master Artist Parmigianino with Process!

avatar

Hi everyone, sharing with you today a coloured pastel portrait drawing inspired on the drawings of the italian renaissance painter Parmigianino. He has a similar style to previous artists I have explored however, he seems to draw only what is necessary. With a few simple lines he is able to capture the expression of the sitter.

This is my portrait attempt based on his style of drawings.

I think I was able to capture my own unique style based on his. I like the looseness in his strokes. However, if I am to capture his style in my future drawings I would either use a finer pastel or larger paper for the drawing.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you liked this master artist! :)

That's really good. Always good to learn from the masters.
