Digital color on pencil portrait drawing

Hello everyone, i am here to share a new digital portrait painting, colored over a pencil drawing in phtoshop.
This was my first sketch in my new sketchbook. However, that sketchbook is not feeling very homey, when i try to draw on it with pencil. It feels a little weird and the fact that i can't press too hard in case i damage the paper too much is such a limiting problem.
To make a part darker i have to over and over on that part very lightly with my pencil. Hard pressure ruins the paper and brings some shine to it. Which is not good.

I am hoping the digital version is looking better than the pencil one.
