Greetings friends, we start the week with everything and what better way to do a new origami for my blog and so many people are encouraged to perform and practice what would be this great art of paper. We continue with the theme of animals and this time we are going to make a prehistoric animal that we can only see in the movies, where they are large, scary and not pretty at all. These animals are dinosaurs. So after searching and practicing all weekend, I managed to complete and explain in detail each step to get as a result a nice paper dinosaur. Saludos amigos, arrancamos la semana con todo y qué mejor manera haciendo un nuevo origami para mi blog y así muchas personas se animen a realizar y practicar lo que sería este gran arte de papel. Seguimos realizando la temática de animales y esta vez vamos a realizar un animal prehistórico y que solo podemos verlo en las películas, donde son de gran tamaño, causan miedo y no es nada bonito. Estos animales son los dinosaurios. Así que luego de buscar y practicar durante todo el fin de semana, logré completar y explicar detalladamente cada paso para obtener como resultado un agradable dinosaurio de papel. For this new origami we will take a white sheet of your choice and we will fold it by one of the diagonals, with the idea of being able to get a square and with the help of a scissors we will cut the excess and thus begin to fold and make the various folds that characterize this origami and in this case will be a paper dinosaur.

Para ese nuevo origami vamos a tomar una hoja blanca de tu preferencia y lo vamos a doblar por una de las diagonales, con la idea de poder sacar un cuadrado y con la ayuda de una tijera vamos a cortar lo sobrante y de esa manera comenzar a doblar y hacer los distintos pliegues que caracterizan este origami y en este caso será un dinosaurio de papel.

We start by folding the other diagonal that is missing and you will notice that on the sheet, the four lines are already marked so it will be much easier to start working on the origami. Now we are going to bring two sides to the center line in this case the diagonal line that we did in the previous step, marking very well and very carefully.

Comenzamos doblando por la otra diagonal que falta y se podrá notar que en la hoja, ya están las cuatro líneas marcadas para que sea mucho más fácil comenzar a trabajar en el origami. Ahora vamos a llevar dos lados a línea del centro en este caso la línea de la diagonal que hicimos en el paso anterior, marcando muy bien y con mucho cuidado.

We are going to open our sheet, to turn it over and now we are going to take the line that we marked from the previous fold, to fold it a little and take it to the diagonal line that is on the sheet, we are going to repeat this on both sides of the sheet and we need to be very careful not to damage the sheet on the other side. Right there we are going to take the paper that stuck out and we are going to take it to the central line, as shown in the photos, flattening it very well so that the origami is not disassembled.

Vamos a abrir nuestra hoja, para así darle la vuelta y ahora vamos a tomar la línea que marcamos del doblez anterior, para doblarla un poco y llevarla hasta la línea diagonal que está en la hoja, eso mismo lo vamos a repetir en ambas parte de la hoja y se necesita de mucho cuidado para no dañar la hoja por la otra parte. Allí mismo vamos a tomar el papel que sobresalió y lo vamos a llevar hacia la línea central, como se nota en las fotos, aplastando muy bien para no se desarme el origami.

Hasta ahora las cosas van muy bien y solo hemos doblado muy poco, donde vamos a tomar la punta de la hoja que salió del paso anterior y la vamos a llevar hacia el centro con la idea de poder marcar una línea muy fuerte, además vamos a doblarlo por la mitad nuestra hoja, para luego volver a la normalidad, donde nos va a permitir hacer un pequeño pliegue en esa parte con los tráiganlos que sobresalen en esa parte de la hoja.

Next, we will take one side of the sheet to the intersection that came out of the previous step, bending very well to mark, there we will bend our sheet a little, being careful not to disassemble anything and we will bend it in the way as shown in the photos, ie a fold inward as a kind of a fold, we will repeat this on both sides of the sheet, maybe you can move or disassemble a little, but be patient and all you do again is to accommodate it.

Seguidamente, vamos a llevar un lado de la hoja hasta la intersección que salió del paso anterior, doblando muy bien para marcar, allí mismo vamos a doblar un poco nuestra hoja, con cuidado de que no se desarme nada y lo vamos a doblar de la manera como se nota en las fotos, es decir un doblez hacia adentro como especie de un pliegue, eso lo vamos a repetir en ambas parte de la hoja, quizás se te pueda mover o desarmar un poco, pero ten paciencia y lo único que haces nuevamente es acomodarlo.

Little by little our dinosaur will take shape and all those doubles that we made before, will allow us to remove much of the origami, so it is important to do things very well and not damage the sheet. We continue folding the sheet in half, and then take one of the ends to the middle. We mark very well and in this way we make a fold inwards and we will be able to obtain the neck of the dinosaur.

Poco a poco nuestro dinosaurio irá tomando forma y todos esos dobles que hicimos anteros, nos van a permitir sacar gran parte del origami, por ende es importante hacer las cosas muy bien y no dañar la hoja. Continuamos doblando la hoja por la mitad, para luego llevar uno de los extremos hasta la mitad. Marcamos muy bien y de esa manera hacemos un pliegue hacia adentro y se podrá obtener el cuello del dinosaurio.

To make the head of the dinosaur, we are going to take the tip of the neck and carefully make a small fold to one side, so we can take out the beak and fold it back into the sheet and with that we have the head ready.

Para hacer la cabeza del dinosaurio, vamos a tomar la punta del cuello y con mucho cuidado vamos a hacer un pequeño doble hacia un lado, para así poder sacar el pico y volvemos a doblar hacia adentro de la hoja y con eso tenemos lista la cabeza.

Finally, we are going to take out the legs of the dinosaur by folding the two triangles that we have on one side of the body taking them to the front and in that way the parts will come out, where the back ones will be a little shorter, without a doubt they will not affect. We do the same on both sides and that way we will have everything ready for our paper origami.

Por último, vamos a sacar las patas del dinosaurio doblando los dos triángulos que tenemos un lado del cuerpo llevándolos hacia el frente y de esa manera van a salir las partes, donde las de atrás serán un poco más cortas, sin duda no afectarán. Eso mismo lo hacemos en ambas partes y de esa manera vamos a tener todo listo de nuestro origami de papel.
