Hello, friends!

It’s already 5 days untuk Christmas, but it won’t be late for us to prepare some Christmas décor for our house (actually I love to see them all year long).. Yes cause it’s been a year of waiting then the moment just come fast, so I always miss Christmas décor, I have some that I show off all year long… And now I would like to share what I made yesterday.. this stocking spent half day long to make but it was so cute and adorable to make.. If you want you could also make one for your child too!

PROJECT TIME: around 7 hours

SKILSS NEEDED:

• Back stitch
• Running stitch
• Whipped stitch
• French knot
• Blanket stitch

DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM

MATERIALS & THINGS NEEDED:

• Unused thick brochure
• Pencil
• Black marker
• Scissors
• Felt fabrics in soft pink, red, brown, red and white
• Embroidery floss in black, brown, white and soft pink
• Sewing floss in red
• Pink fabric liner
• Sewing Needle

HOW TO MAKE IT:

1ST

I started by drawing the stocking on the unused brochure as the pattern, I made it with pencil first then I bolded it with the black marker I have. Then I cut it off.

4TH

After that, I prepared the pink bow, how to make it was quite easy, first I cut a rectangle pink felt then I cut a bit longer but think pink felt. Then it would hold the center part. After that I sew behind it then I wavy trimmed its’ both sides and sew its’ back on the ginger bread man with white floss.

5TH

Finish with the bow then I cut off 4 pink circles for the cheeks and buttons plus a red circle for the nose. I also cut off the white felt for the line on the top and a part on the bottom.

6TH

After that, I also make a white circle, I used my vitamin round bottle to make it (as the pattern), cut it off then I cut the white felt and I also cut the pattern into the part of lollipop candy like below, the shape would be like the triangle but not in straight model. Then I cut the red felt with that pattern, I made 3 pieces of it.

7TH

Next, I also cut the candy cane for the lollipop holder, after finished, I start to sew the red nose, two cheeks and the buttons. For the red nose and buttons I used the whipped stitch.

8TH

I then made the two eyes with French knot by using 4 strains of black floss, then did the running stitch for the smile with double red floss and I also did the running stitch for the candy cane and lollipop with red floss.
