'Love The Clouds' Contest! #120 - Insane Colored Clouds.

I am not sure how to describe these next series of clouds "Insane Colored Clouds" is one way of describing these clouds but, I am sure there are many other descriptions we can come up with but all I can say I have seen many cloud colored formations over my time but, it never ends that next one always seems to be better, we can go into all the scientific reasons why clouds are seen in so many colors but, I am not going to bore you with all that, I just want you to enjoy the following clouds for there natural beauty. These are a collection of some of my best colorful clouds, I captured while on the island of Koh Samui a island, I dearly miss and hope to be back there again in the near future to see more of these tropical clouds putting on a few more show for me. So here we go enjoy the show and let me know which one is your favorite because, I certainly had a hard time choosing my favorite for this contest of #lovetheclouds run by the one and only @tobetada

The first "Insane Colored Clouds" which, I have made my favorite is this very unusual shaped cloud which to me seems to resemble a map of country, looking a bit like the map of Italy and what I also love about this cloud is the colorful aurora around this amazing cloud.

These distinctive blue cotton clouds were amazing right till the end as, it got darker and were then lit up by the falling sun.

These next series of insane colored clouds with these wonderful mixtures of colors, pinkish, reddish, yellow, gray, orange did, I miss any maybe, I did but anyways, it was like looking at someone through the camera continuously changing the filters lens but in fact this was all happening naturally, never seen so many color changes in a short period of time and it definitely was spectacular to see.

It's not easy to capture "Colored clouds" unless you're sitting like a hunter with all your guns ready. A question here, do you edit them or these all are untouched?

Normally i will sit a cloudy sunset out and just keep clicking away as the sun and clouds change around. Most these sunset and clouds were from a tropical island in Thailand were you get the best of sunsets and don't need any editing these all untouched all natural.

That's right, Thailand is fine for shots like these as I have never seen the sky like this in Australia barring once. I was about to land in Sydney at around 6.30 in the evening and the sun was about to set. I had both my camera and phone in the bag up in the luggage compartment and by the time I decided to click, they announced seat belts.

Fiery clouds, gray clouds ... I love your clouds, @kohsamui99, and my favourites here are fifth and the sixth photo, but most I like the 5th, because it looks so cool with the fire on the horizon and the gray clouds in the center 😀

It's a great idea to have an archive with photos for most kind of posts.
My archive isn't that big, but if I see such beautiful sunrises or sunsets I take lots of photos too. I just don't process all photos because it takes too much time 🙂

It really does help when there are times you can't get out or there is no sunsets for a while so keeping backups of all sorts has got me out of trouble many times. When I go out on a photo shoot I come home download and separate them into there appropriate files and edit when needed I find that works for me 👍

True, and if you post daily like you are doing these images help a lot.
Everybody has different workflows. I import the files to Lightroom where I do my basic editings. Then I open the images in Photoshop and save them to edit them later or when I have time.

As you say @johannpiber every one has different workflows and it seems you have yours happening to suit you it's the best way to be otherwise it can get really messy. Have a great day my friend 👍
