¡Feliz Viernes queridos hivers!

Happy Friday dear hivers! The weekend is just around the corner and I have for you only good wishes and good vibes in abundance. This time I want to join the initiative proposed by @tibaire in his usual content "Talking with my ancestors" and it is nothing more and nothing less than that inheritance left by our ancestors, that which we carry somehow in our dna.

I always heard my mother say "What is inherited is not stolen" or "son of a tiger...", and many of us know what that means. What is carried in our blood always comes out in our lives in the form of talents, that which we do not explain why we know how to handle perfectly or the reason why it is so easy for us to carry out this or that thing.

I am definitely a faithful believer that in our genes we have the predisposition to develop the talents of our ancestors, all this goes from generation to generation taking to us and our future generations an indelible imprint of many good things and even some not so good.

In my perception of the subject, just as they often tell you "you have a lot of talent for singing, just like your mother", they can also associate your bad character with that of your father. What I mean is that somehow, whether we like it or not, we have part of all that our ancestors represented in our lives as part of a great inheritance.

I inherited it from my mother!

I think I always wanted to be like my mother and it was common that since I was very young I wanted to imitate her, my greatest motive and sincere love has been her. Her enormous kindness, her sensitivity, her passion for helping others but above all that beautiful voice that I have used since I can remember to sing in the church choir.

That sweetness to interpret and that gift to give all of herself for others whenever possible. Those blessed hands to cook, that gift to make everything delicious, and it is not because she is my mother but she inherited it from my grandmother, they have exactly the same seasoning and there it is evident what I want to express here.

The least expected day I was already singing like her in the church choirs and in any related event, although at the beginning I did not have the confidence that was required nor the impetus of her voice at some point I got to do it just like her. And believe me, I have always loved music, it comes naturally to me, I have a great musical ear and I usually learn the lyrics from the first moment I hear some content that I definitely like.

Regarding the seasoning in the kitchen for many years she tried to teach me what she knew but I never agreed to learn, I did not even get to practice, until it was time to emigrate and as God's will my first job was in a kitchen so I had to put all the effort possible.

Every day I improved noticeably, with practice I had better ideas to implement, new versions of some dish and my famous experiments in the kitchen when I got home for my family. All this boosted and brought out a talent I didn't know I had, I went from not knowing how to make rice to wanting to reinvent myself more and more every day with respect to new flavors or things I had never prepared before.

I got this from my father without a doubt!

I feel like I couldn't have won a better father in life than the one I have. Loving, dedicated, understanding and very intelligent. My father is a lawyer by profession, for that you have to have a great memory, retentive, use logic, common sense and have no laziness at all to read and read non-stop during and after the career (if there is any lawyer or student of the career who is reading me will be able to certify it).

He also loves everything that has to do with personal growth and writing, in fact in his younger years he even wrote a book. He is a dreamer, positive and very strong in spirit, who despite the adversities always encourages me to have faith, patience and above all to fight for my dreams.

And although neither of his parents (my grandparents) had any similar gift or talent, his grandfather (my great-grandfather) loved reading and writing, so that's where it goes. I also inherited from my father that passive personality but when they take my last name, it explodes and is scary, that's why they say that those who are quiet are best left alone.

I believe that life in its daily walk is showing us the way, it guides us towards that which was hidden and when we discover it, it becomes our passion. I love and will always love music, gastronomy, learning and reading, but above all writing, is something I can do as much as I want without getting tired, so I think the blockchain is my greatest tool to develop in a creative and spontaneous way what I am passionate about, that which I consider my talent and that I inherited from my ancestors, writing!

I invite friends @irene0411, @mllg and @mairimgo23 to participate in this initiative, I will be anxious to read that inheritance left by their ancestors.

Thank you very much for reading me!!!, for your support and attention 💜

Cantar, cocinar, leer, escribir.

Me has dejado pensando...
