vintage silver spoon

8075w.jpg

A vintage silver spoon I has happy to use yesterday, visiting my friend.

8076.jpg

He have obtained it at a flea market in NYC a few years ago. He is fond of collecting vintage thins, (same as me) and surround his environment (magpie nest, haha!) with hundreds of shiny and not-so-shiny nice little useless things. The photo of 'chizhik-pyzhik' monument (a miniature copy of it) I published yesterday, is also from his collection.

NB. A textbook from 1938' cover worked as a background here - immaculate match!

location: St.Petersburg, Russia December 2020 natural lighting
camera/lens: Canon 5D Sigma 150mm raw-conv.

hello dear friend @qwerrie good afternoon
What a beautiful spoon, how good that you had the privilege of having used it.
My grandparents loved this time of silver utensils, it was beautiful to see the Sunday table shine with so much silver on the table.
I really appreciate that you showed us this beautiful piece
have a splendid night
