Top 5 Neutral Splinter Cards

(Edited)

I love Neutral Cards.
Love it for the fact that it can used with any summoner, Hence making its frequency of usages more than the other splinter cards.
Today, I am going to share something that I wish I knew while I started playing this game. It will be useful for people who are starting out and want to invest in a few cards, but aren't sure what to buy.

I am going to list out My Top 5 picks for Neutral Cards. I made this list based on my playing experience and after consulting some seasoned players. Considered factors like Price, Effectiveness and Mana Cost while making it.

So here we go.

#1.Furious Chicken

Furious Chicken 0101.png

The Furious Chicken is easily the most used card in the game with an impressive percentage. Most rightly so, As it does not cost you any mana while you arrange your deck of cards. If you further level this card up to its max,It gets 2 melee attack and the ability of enrage. The melee attack can be during the sneak rule and Melee Mayhem, while enrage ability is best in use during equalizer rule. Its a card that everyone has and I highly recommend you to get one of these if you don't have it already.

As of today(22nd july 2020), The price of this card is $0.060 per BCX and we would have to combine 115 cards to Max it.

#2.Geletenous cube

Gelatinous Cube 0101.png

This card does not have any attack at all, but its got one of the best, if not the best defence in the game. Its so good that it can sometimes single handedly win you games by tiring out its opponents. You can see an example battle here. The reason why its able to do that its because of its high health and its abilities like scavenger, heal and void which maked it a beast when it comes to defence. I use this card everytime during the no melee rule and occasionally during the earthquake rule. What is even more awesome that this card is commonly got during season rewards.

The current price of this card is $0.014 per BCX and you need 505 to get to its max level.

#3.Mantoid

I might have surprised a few of you by picking this fellow, but It is a great value for money card with snipe ability which available on the market for just $0.023. This ability targets monsters other than the 1st position which can be vital to take out some rangers and Magic monsters. Further when you max this card, It will have 4 ranged attacks and ability called snare which can be useful during the Earthquake rule.

#4.Halfling Alchemist

Alchemist0101.png

We have concluded with the common and rare cards, now we come to the epic and legendary ones,So its naturally going cost you a bit more. I picked the half alchemist because its an awesome range monster that has the ability to reduce the attack of the enemy to half of its original value. Like say the Goblin Mech has 4 melee attack, Halving Alchemist can reduce that value to 2. It has a low health and will cost you only couple of Mana while you arrange your deck, Hence I usually try to place it in the 5th position. When this card reaches level 4, it get this ability called redemption which reduces all the monsters health by 1 when it is killed.

Currently, this card is available for $0.761 per BCX.

#5.Lord Arianthus

If this card doesn't make it to this list I don't know what will. This card is most used after the furious chicken.
Why?
Well, This card ticks all the boxes once it reaches level 3 (5 BCX to level 3 for regular foil).
Its got good defense against melee, ranged and magic while having counter defense for Melee and Magic with abilities like Magic reflect and Thorns.
With a Mana of 5, its easily become our go to choice for the card you keep up front!

Right now, This Legendary card costs $3.8 per BCX.

There you go.
That was my top 5 neutral splinter card everyone should own.
I had few more names in my head like Tortisian Chief Dwarwen Wizard and Chain Golem which were pretty good as well, but din't make it to the final 5. You can all these cards from @monstermarket by clicking this link.

Oh! You haven't started playing yet?
Here is My Refee

Now, I throw back the question at you.
What is your top 5 neutral splinter cards?

At level 10, a complete one man army. If it had cost less mana, then we would have had it in all teams and the game would have stopped existing.

Too powerful card!

Cheers!
