Monster Market week 5 Best Rewards Yet

Hello Splinterlands fans!

Wanted to share a post about one of the lucky things that I learned about 5 weeks ago, the Monstermarket which is a service by @zaku and @reazuliqbal over on @monstermarket. You can find their site at monstermarket.io and sign in with your Hive/Steem info.

Splinterlands recently unfortunately ended the secondary market rewards because they felt it wasn't being used the way it was intended. I think that's unfortunate because it gave groups like MonsterMarket some additional incentives to offer up front to people who use their service versus just on Splinterlands. Can't change it though, so oh well.

I will continue using the Monster Market service though, as a token of gratitude for them and what they offer. I'm up to 198 packs eligible towards airdrop rewards, the vast majority of that is from using Monster Market! (not sure if some packs get counted twice, I don't think I've purchased that many lol, 150 sure but almost 200?)

This week, I purchased 45 packs from them, using up some of my powerdown Steem (390 Steem). Since the price of Steem was up a hell of a lot this week, I was able to grab 45 packs at 398 Steem! I almost shat myself this morning when I saw how many I could get!

This week was one the best as far as flipping Lengedary cards. I added several new, BAD F-ING ASS Legendary cards to my deck, check it out below!

It was absolutely insane to flip my first legendary, and have it be a brand new Mimosa! I did exactly what @knowhow92 did and did a "fuck yeah" fist in the air like he did when he flipped 2 legendary cards in one pack. Totally worth buying the potions and using them in this scenario!

I was a few packs in and saw another legendary and figured, nice hopefully something I will use. BAM! Phantom, one of the cards I've been waiting to get. Such a badass card.

Almost had 4 rare's in one deck. I also scored a couple more Drake's so I now have a level 2 summoner.

Got another legendary and though not crazy about this one, I will still keep it in my deck since it's a legendary. Not entirely planning on using it but a good addition.

I was wicked excited to flip another Cornealius! I've been waiting to get one for a bit now. I can almost now get my current to level 2, which is what I'm waiting for. This card is crazy at level 2, better at higher of course but my deck can't handle level 3 legendary cards besides my dragon summoner.

Decent flip here, an Epic as well as a summoner. Will take that!

Another new legendary for me! This one is pretty damn badass. I can only imagine having 99 mana battles with my dragon summoner available. I'll wreak havoc on them!

To round out the final few cards, flipped another badass Phantom. Now my alt account has one as well, so I was pumped about that one!

Those were the good cards I grabbed this week! I also was able to grab a bunch of regular and rare cards. Those help level up my deck so that I can have a more diverse deck and take advantage of rules. I've been finding myself using a good blend of the untamed cards alongside the beta cards. Will be helpful to get more leveled up, eventually I'd like to be able to compete in the higher leagues and tournaments but that's still quite a ways away.

If you haven't yet, I would really recommend if you want to buy some packs to use Monster Market! They have an awesome service and send you the 3% back if you purchase cards from the secondary market through them, very quickly. I stack my saving and spend it the next week.
