Hi! In this post i show you the strategy that i was use in battle, and my opinion about the monster for this challenge.

Lore from Splinterlands

In first position I placed "Nightmare" the fast attacker with blast, to weaken also the second enemy monster. This came in handy, because there was a dangerous Lich that fell quickly thanks to the combination of that blast with the Snipe of another of my monsters.

Secondly, the protagonist of this challenge, who could not shine so much in the first turns because of the enemy's shield, but he did do damage and gained time to take down the archers' combo.

In third position was the Lich, which served as an excellent magical attacker to finish off the enemy.

In fourth position BoogeyMan, who with his debuff reduced the enemy speed and contributed to the attack line.

Finally the archer combo, crucial to take down the Lich and finish before the enemy took the lead.

The complete alineation was:

Curious fact:

The cover drawing was an edition of one of my entries to the Splinterlands art challenge, playing with photoshop filters and text blending options I achieved that result.

My opinion:
It is a card that I like a lot, when I play the Splinter of death I usually go for strategies in which I take advantage of the speed of the first attackers to evade a lot while the back line wreaks havoc from a distance, such strategies are great for him, because his speed is quite high. Although in front of magic strategies, he turns out to be a bit flimsy.
