Do you know all 11 Triage Ability cards in Splinterlands?

Triage as an ability is one I have never really explored before and I began to look at ways to exploit the healing it offers. As a low level player, I don't have access to some of the higher level cards and therefore I am unable to access most of the opportunities for Triage. I do own one of the Triage monsters on this list and only recently figured a tactic for using it effectively.

By using PeakMonsters, I filtered using Triage and spent a good deal of time researching. Here are my findings. They are sorted starting with the most expensive options for access to the Triage ability.

11. Khymer Princess

The Khymer Princess is an excellent card at all levels but the Triage ability takes it to the next level entirely. A superb option but that price tag is the highest of all cards on offer. For the whales out there this is a must buy but the rest of us, perhaps level 4 is a good stopping point?

10. Theorosa Nightshade

A one mana cost card was always going to be expensive and is the lowest mana cost on offer for triage. Low health and general stats so will need to be set up correctly in order to take advantage of the Triage ability. A pretty fair price if just a higher budget option. This is the only Death card with Triage.

9. Kelp Initiate

The Kelp Initiate is unique in the sense that it is the only monster on this list to have no attacking attributes but it increases in speed and health pretty nicely for each level so there is that. A good option but a bit pricey perhaps compared to other options?

A great card for utility at the highest levels. Although, I am not sure that it would be as effective at the lower levels. It is however, the only dragon with access to Triage

7. Chanceus The Great

One of three cards that have Triage at the first level. This summoner is an almighty force to be reckoned with and quite simply deserves it current price tag (Although I'd snap it up if it drops even just a little lower!) This is on my must buy list and should be on yours too.

6. Queen Mycelia

My reasons to keep on loving this card continue to pile up. This card is a nuisance at worst and a game changer at best. The addition of Triage gives this my upmost respect. Great card and one that I think is worth it's weight in any line up for Earth. I'd love to grab more of these over time.

5. Herbalist

The Herbalist is an excellent card in its own right but for a player like myself, I am a long way away from attaining the Triage ability.

4. Spirit Hoarder

This is an excellent card in general and can be seen in one of my recent battles here. I paired it with a Taunt in the backline and the extra longevity really paid off. Combining this card with a summoner like Obsidian meant this card did 2 magic damage with considering its 3 mana is a pretty excellent rate of return on the mana cost.

3. Mermaid Healer

The Mermaid Healer is unique in that it is the only Wild format card on this list. It does not initially have an attack value but at third level it gains magic which increases its use a little. A good value card in general if you want to play Wild. Could be a good marker for how the Angelic Mandarin might perform down the line? A good card with some excellent utility and not all that expensive for the offerings.

2. Angelic Mandarin

This is a very cheap but equally pretty awesome card with okay speed (decent paired Kelya) and high health. Compared to the other options, this is quite inexpensive and is within the range of the majority of player's skill levels as well.

I was quite surprised at the overall cost of this card compared to the others on the list. So I have learned something new in Splinterlands. One thing I would say is that you would need a 5th level Summoner which means this is only accessible in Gold. Other than that, a card I'll certainly pick up a few more of over time! This is quite a high cost with regard to mana which is the only downside when compared to some of the other options on the list but the strengthen ability and 3 magic damage is always welcome.
