Hello Splinterlands friends,

yesterday was end of season. I hope all of you got nice rewards!
For me the season ended with renting again in Silver III.
So I had 12 Loot Chests to open.

And I could hardly believe it: I drew a very special HIT, which is worth about $62 at this point!!! This time I was really lucky!

I could hardly believe my eyes when the Legendary
Card also turned gold. I've always hoped to eventually draw a card like this to increase my card power and be able to play in silver without renting. Now my dream has come true!

After my last rewards were really not good, I am even more pleased now.

Thank you so much! But I will not sell the card. I keep it because of it's 12,500 CP. Now I can play in the silver league without renting anymore ;)

That’s a nice reward @karizma,
I’m sure that makes up for the disappointment of getting poor end of season chests.

I’ve had my share of rubbish in the end of season rewards, to the point I almost stopped playing completely; then every once in a while you get something good, and it renews your interest in the game.

Have fun building new squads with it 😁

Yeah, the last few times I've been pretty disappointed with the rewards too, but sometimes it pays to hang in there. I think the value of Splinterlands assets will become apparent in the next few years, as NFT games become mainstream.

I agree, it’s all about the long term plan.
I’m definitely playing a lot less than I used to though, so now I have a lot of my cards rented out on the market, and just keep the cards I use the most as well as a few ‘wildcards’ I can use to have a chance of winning specific rule sets.
This way I get some daily DEC to add to liquidity pools along with the daily SPA airdrop 😁
