Good morning my dear people of Hive, happy midweek and I hope you are very very well, today I come with a new participation for the dynamic drawings of #Splinterlands and this is the Lord of Fire, this is a character that I saw several weeks ago and since then I really wanted to draw because it is a character that fits quite well to my illustration style and many of my past drawings so I got down to work over the weekend to start the sketch:

Buenos días mi querida gente de Hive, feliz mitad de semana y espero que se encuentre muy muy bien, hoy les vengo con una nueva participación para la dinámica de dibujos de #Splinterlands y se trata de El Señor del Fuego, este es un personaje que vi hace varias semanas y desde entonces me dieron muchas ganas de dibujar pues es un personaje que se adapta bastante bien a mi estilo de ilustración y a muchos de mis dibujos pasados por lo tanto me puse manos a la obra el fin de semana para empezar el boceto:

PROCESS / PROCESO

The sketch first I had created it as half sideways with the hand very close to his face, but then I thought it didn't look so good; so I restructured a little the skeleton and the base to try to make the Fire Lord with both hands in the front part making a kind of cover to the fire emanating from his tail. I did it this way to give a bit of an impression that the character was giving a bit of heat to his palms or something; then I used a bloody red to start coloring the skin with a flat brush.

El boceto primero lo había creado como de medio lado con la mano muy cerca de su rostro, pero después me pareció que no se veía tan bien; por ello reestructure un poco el esqueleto y la base para tratar de hacer el Señor del Fuego con ambas manos en la parte de en frente haciendo una especie de cobertura al fuego que emana de su cola. Lo hice así para dar un poco la impresión de que el personaje estaba dando un poco de calor a sus palmas o algo así; luego empleé un rojo sangriento para comenzar a darle color a la piel con un pincel plano.

Then with a rough brush together with an airbrush I was giving a little texture and volume to the face and muscles to try to give a strong structure to the body. After laying those first bases the next thing was to give color to the fangs and also to the 4 eyes of the character; this I did very carefully to achieve a very dark and evil expression in the face of the Fire Lord.

Luego con un pincel rugoso junto con un pincel aerógrafo fui dándole un poco de textura y volumen al rostro y a los músculos para tratar de darle una estructura fornida al cuerpo. Luego de sentar esas primeras bases lo siguiente fue darles color a los colmillos afinados y también a los 4 ojos del personaje; esto lo hice con mucho cuidado para lograr una expresión bastante tétrica y malvada en el rostro del Señor del Fuego.

The next part of the process was the painting of the lower part of the body which is a kind of mythological ram's legs in a base brown tone and then with a fine tipped brush I created the fur scattered one on top of the other to achieve a good animal relief. Then I painted the cape or long tunic that he wears on his back with a medium purple to which I gave details of wrinkles and folds.

Lo siguiente en el proceso fue el pintado de la parte baja del cuerpo que son una especie de piernas de carnero mitológico en tonalidad marrón base y luego con un pincel de punta fina fui creando el pelaje disperso unos sobre otro para lograr un buen relieve animal. Luego pinta la capa o túnica larga que lleva en su espalda con un morado medio al cual le di detalles de arrugas y pliegues.

Continuing with the painting the next thing I did was to give shape to the golden accessories that the Fire Lord character wears in different areas of his body, the first accessory that I colored was the bracelets that he wears on his forearms and to which I gave a look of pure and resistant gold with many intense yellow tones; then I did the same process with the brooch that buttons or keeps his cloak together. Finally I finished off the character by creating the 2 elongated horns which come out of the Fire Lord's head in a reddish-brown tone.

Continuando con el pintado lo siguiente que hice fue darle forma a los accesorios dorados que lleva el personaje del Seños del Fuego en distintas zonas de su cuerpo, el primer accesorio que le di color fue a los brazaletes que porta en sus antebrazos y a los cuales les di una apariencia de oro puro y resistente con muchos tonos amarillos intensos; luego hice el mismo proceso con el broche que abotona o mantiene unida su capa. Finalmente culmine al personaje creando los 2 cuernos alargados los cuales sales de la cabeza del Señor del Fuego en una tonalidad marrón-rojizo.

To give a good conclusion to my drawing I decided to paint some flames or big flares in the background, this because I thought it would fit perfectly with the theme of the character and for this I used several brushes and above all many layer effects. After finishing the background I created a couple of layers of glitter to highlight some details and finally I created a small flame sprouting from the tail of the Lord of Fire with great intensity.

Para darle una buena conclusión a mi dibujo decidí pintar alguna flamas o llamaradas grandes en la parte del fondo, esto pues me pareció que se acoplaría perfectamente a la temática del personaje y para esto use varios pinceles y sobretodo muchos efectos de capa. Luego de culminar el fondo cree un par de capas de brillos para resaltar algunos detalles y finalmente cree una pequeña flama brotando desde la cola del Señor del Fuego con gran intensidad.
