Last 20 Minutes of Battle: Reaching Gold Level One in Splinterlands and Getting Season Rewards

How are you all? I hope you are all well and healthy. How was your Splinterlands season? Did you manage to reach your desired league at the last minute?

The last minute of every season in Splinterlands is always full of excitement and thrill. Mine was no exception. With only 20 minutes left until the end of the season, I thought I would try to improve my position on the leaderboard. I was at Gold Level Two at the time. Suddenly, the thought came to my mind, is it possible to reach Gold Level One in such a short time? With this thought in mind, I quickly sat down to play the game. Each match was extremely competitive and nerve-wracking. The clock was ticking and my excitement was increasing. Finally, after a lot of effort, I was able to reach Modern Gold Level One just before the end of the season. This achievement was very satisfying for me. Today I am going to share with you the experience of this journey and the rewards I got from it in detail.

When I returned to the lobby after being promoted to Gold level one, the rewards window appeared in front of me. The screen showed a nice message that Modern Gold One was unlocked. It said that I had earned my place in the next competitive level by proving my mastery of the elements. With this level, there is a chance to earn even bigger rewards. However, there was one thing that was mentioned here that to get a 10x reward multiplier at this level, you need to stake 58,900 to 89,000 SPS tokens depending on the rating.

After going to the main rewards window, I saw some chests waiting for me as Gold level one loot. There were a total of two different types of chests. The first was 9 small brown chests and the second was 6 large blue chests. Before opening these chests, a prompt came up to use a potion or medicine according to a common rule of the game. I had 105 Legendary Potions and 69 Alchemy Potions left. I confirmed to use a maximum of 15 Potions from there. Using Legendary Potions doubles the chance of getting Epic and Legendary cards, and using Alchemy Potions doubles the chance of getting Gold Foil or Golden Cards.

After completing all the preparations, when I opened the chests in the first step, several wonderful rewards were revealed to me. One of the rewards found on the first screen was various necessary resources. Here I got 2 Energy 1 time each, which is very useful for participating in the subsequent battles. In addition, the merits required for the guild were found in two different parts—one of 33 merits and the other of 100 merits. I also got 1 entry token to participate in a tournament or special game. In addition, 1 Legendary Potion charge was also added to my account. However, the most interesting part was the collection of cards. In this stage, I got the Coralforged card of the 8th level of Water element twice. The card looks pretty good and its power is also quite good. In addition, I also got 1 rare Swamprot card of the 5th level of Earth element in this stage.

Then when I opened the rest of the books, the list of rewards became richer. On the second screen, I got a total of 3 energy pieces—once 4 energy and twice 3 energy, which will make up for my energy deficit to a large extent. In terms of cards, my collection was better in this stage. Here, I got 2 rare cards of the 7th level of Life element, Pixie-Knife Hurler. In addition, I got 2 common cards of the 6th level of Water element, Oceanus Unmade. The most common card found was the 9th level of Death element, Husk of the Hunter, of which I got a total of 3 copies. In addition, in the last stage, I also got 1 legendary potion and 1 alchemy potion as rewards.

It was a great experience to go from Gold 2 to Gold 1 in just 20 minutes at the very end of the season and get these rewards. Although sometimes trying at the last minute doesn't yield the desired results, this time the effort was successful. I hope these cards and energies will help me perform better in the next season.
