HIVE:HBD & CHAOS Packs [2026-09-11]

Welcome to the @rentmoney blog Today we will be blogging about CHAOS Packs, the Hive Token and HBD (Hive Back Dollars).

About three days ago I predicted we get to 40 cent CHAOS Packs in about two weeks. I was using the $0.395 listing as a vocal point. That first $0.395 listing in the image above, upon me first noticing it, was 500 CHAOS Packs. It's now down to 151. Three days ago the listing was at 242. That means within that time frame it dropped by 151 packs. On the date of 2026/31/08 there was 459 packs listed in that same slot. You can find my previous update post displaying such numbers by clicking the following link: It's a traders market out there (Hive Token & Chaos Packs). It looks like more packs have been listed for trade since then. Currently there is 176 CHAOS Packs listed for $0.389. Another batch of 100 listed at $0.39. Will my two week prediction come to be true or are people content with listing their bags of CHAOS at just under the 40 cent price? What value do you see CHAOS going to? Sound off in the comment section below. The reasoning I believe CHAOS Packs are underpriced currently is the $1.00 Starter Packs. The Starter Packs contain no Epic or Legendary cards nor do they contain Gold cards. CHAOS has all that and a DEC burn rate on top of that. I keep those metrics in mind when asking myself where can the price of one CHAOS pack land.

As I get ready to put on a cup of coffee I head to the Hive Blockchain internal HIVE:HBD market. It has become a dose of my daily routine. Maybe I'll switch it up and have a cup of smooth delicious hot chocolate. Regardless of my beverage of choice the Hive Token is trading for 0.045989 on the Buy Orders side of the internal HIVE:HBD market. On the Sell Orders side we can see the list price for one Hive Token is 0.046050 HBD. If we venture over to the Trade History column we will see recent trades for the Hive Token reached 0.046193 HBD per Hive Token. Most reading this blog likely know what HBD is but just in-case you are new here or stumbled upon this post from the world of WEB2: HBD is short for Hive Backed Dollars. It's one of two main currencies of the Hive Blockchain. HBD is designed to be at or very close to 1:1 with the USD. There is mechanics in place that is above my pay-grade that do a marvelous job at doing that. At least I have become impressed with HBD ability to stay at or near USD peg. Of course none of this is financial advice. I'm just a guy excited about the Hive native tokens and the overall ecosystem of the Hive Blockchain. Always do your own research and never spend or invest what you can't afford to lose.
