Sharing A Battle Using BARKING SPIDER: My Splinterlands Journey #32

Gosh... I hope I am not too late!!! Sometimes, my work life is so darn busy, it keeps me away from some of the favorite fun things I want to do... like battling in #splinterlands more often. But as they say.. better late than never! So wait for me, peeps! This is for this week's Share Your Battle challenge.

So these are two of my first battles back after being away for several days from the battlefield. I just played these a few minutes ago.

Battle No.1- Rule: Back to Basics, Mana Cap: 26

I won this battle with three Monsters standing which includes Barking Spider. 💪 💪 💪 💪 💪

Battle No.2- Rule: Close Range/Keep Your Distance, Mana:14

I won this battle losing with two Monsters standing which includes Barking Spider. 💪 💪 💪 💪 💪

General Strategy

My Barking Spider is at level 4. At this level, it does not have any ability yet. But is has a Health of 6, a Speed of 3 and a good 2 Range Attack.

Barking Spider gains the ability Blind at level 6.

  • Without any ability at level 4, Barking Spider is in equal footing as all other Monster in Battle No.1 under the Battle Rule Back to Basic, and as well as in Battle No. 2 under the rule Close Range.
  • In both battles, I chose to put Barking Spider in the third position. In Battle No.1 I really wanted the Barking Spider in the 4th position in Battle No.1, but I had not other Magic Attack Monster available to me with high health.
  • In both battles, my strategy was to field low-mana Monsters with high health. This was the determining factor for me winning both battles.

I feel like this is true IRL. Like... spiders never die... You'd think they would... but then they just keep on keeping on. 🤣

You are totally, totally sweet to wait up for me, and I appreciate you so much for doing that! It took me like several days, adding bits and pieces to the article... and still I did not make my deadline to post it no later than Sunday AM! Do you have weeks like that? Anyway, seconds before hitting that post button, it felt very much like in Splinterlands when I take so long deciding on my lineup and seconds after the final warning bell has sounded only then that I hit the BATTLE button ... stomach-churning, palms sweating, pins and needles in the soles of my feet! Whew!!! And they.... a sigh of relief....receiving this comment from you is like not losing the game because I "surrendered" for missing the last second mark.

Hehehe... I wish! Splinterlands is a crypto game. One earns DEC tokens for every win. I wish I could play it more often to earn DEC tokens. It is so much fun too!

That is awesome! I have an iphone6, which I have been using since forever, hehehe! And I don't want to learn anything new again. I still do not know all the features of this phone. What can I say... maybe I am stingy @silvertop, LOL!
