Talking about Splinterlands Anytime Tournaments and PeakMonsters

So, at last, I got to try out some of the anytime Tournaments. It was fun in one I am 11 and 2 with one battle left the other didn't go so well 6 and 4 with 3 left. I might win something in the first one but out of the running in the second. But these ones only rewarded the top 7 it was cool of @peakmonsters to host them. I made a video going more into and talking about the Peakmonsters.com site. It will be changing but I have loved it so far.

I hope you watched it so you heard that I am going to giveaway 1000 DEC to someone that makes a comment about the video. Really looking for feedback about sharing my @splinterlands content on both steem and hive because it promotes the game more. Or is it time to stop?

Also if you watched the video you see who won the DEC from the last recap post I did about the rules. The winner was.

Well, thanks to anyone that checks out the video and lets me know what they think. I am also still looking for an idea for a weekly post to go along with my giveaways. So if there is something you would like to see let me know.

Hello @stever82,

From now on, I am on Hive as I am following my game. Thanks for this nice post.

Anytime stuff

The Swiss system in Anytime tournament is no good for determining good final places, but that is still the most useful when dealing with large number of participants, and IMO far better than Single Elimination system. My long time experience through other sports showed me so. What you said about improving Anytime by shorting it to under a day time is not so good for all @splinterlands participants as the aim was to allow players in any time zone to play at their own most convenient time. Now, 24h time is still not good for some, bcs in my Anytime tournament I had 5 wins for free out of 19 games. Probably aiming for smaller number of time zones and limiting max number of participants is what you need to put in your plan of your own Anytime tournament, as that would result in shorter time window and with desired smaller number of matches.

@peakmonsters stuff

It is good that they make their move to hive blockchain with as little as possible efforts needed from users. And the renting system is a must to keep on existing IMO. that is making @peakmonsters unique place, and strongly helping small players as well as new ones to come. Probably still not existing guides about speedy growing new account base on renting the cards. If I may say, please do not allow renting system to disappear.

Cheers!

Ya the issue with the 2-day timer is just that you are waiting and waiting to win but I think you are right it is better to let more people play. Yes, the rental market is very important and I hope it stays.

Your right, those Legendary Summoners are very expensive, but the added power they bring is worth the price.

Ya for sure I plan on buying some next time I have some extra cash. My last big buy was to max out my Beta Rare summoners I will look for someone selling them under Market. We might have some players leaving with the Steem Hive fight.

Ya I am not sure the 100 days is Steem stuff is fun and got me a 20 dollar vote also they are sending 200k SP to people that run communities so they can upvote people posting in them. Sure I the hard fork did bad stuff but some of the moves they make are looking good
