[ESP] ¡Buen día, comunidad! Esta semana he estado bastante activo con la fotografía, uno de mis hobbies favoritos. He realizado varias salidas con la cámara que me prestó mi hermano, una de estas fue a la capital venezolana, Caracas, a donde fuimos a visitar a la familia.

En el terreno justo al lado del edificio donde viven mi familiares, se está construyendo un gran edificio de oficinas. Bajé a la planta baja, preparé la cámara, afiné la vista y le tomé varias fotografías.

[ENG] Good morning, community! This week I have been quite active with photography, one of my favorite hobbies. I have made several trips with the camera that my brother lent me, one of these was to the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, where we went to visit the family.

On the land right next to the building where my relatives live, it is being built a large office building. I went downstairs, set up the camera, sharpened my view, and took several pictures of it.

[ESP] Lo que más llamó mi atención de esta escena en construcción fueron los contrastes, los elementos constructivos y los reflejos del cielo. Los elementos rectangulares en la composición como los bloques de concreto y los paneles de vidrio, a mi parecer, son los que le dan fuerza y armonía a estos encuadres.

Pensando en la construcción y en el habitar, recuerdo un texto muy interesante que leí en cuarto semestre de la carrera de Arquitectura. Quisiera citar un par de fragmentos de los escritos 'Construir, habitar, pensar.' de Martín Heidegger: '¿Qué significa entonces construir? La palabra del alto alemán antiguo correspondiente a construir, buan, significa habitar. Esto quiere decir: permanecer, residir. El significado propio del verbo bauen (construir), es decir, habitar, lo hemos perdido.' ... 'No habitamos porque hemos construido, sino que construimos y hemos construido en la medida que habitamos.'

[ENG] What most caught my attention in this scene under construction were the contrasts, the construction elements and the reflections of the sky. The rectangular elements in the composition such as concrete blocks and glass panels, in my opinion, are what give strength and harmony to these frames.

Thinking about construction and living, I remember a very interesting text that I read in the fourth semester of the Architecture career. I would like to quote a couple of fragments from the writings 'Build, inhabit, think.' by Martín Heidegger: 'What then does it mean to build? The Old High German word for building, buan, means to dwell. This means: stay, reside. The proper meaning of the verb bauen (to build), that is to say, to inhabit, we have lost it.' ... 'We do not inhabit because we have built, but we build and we have built as we inhabit.'

[ESP] En esos texto se pudiera interpretar que no hay una separación entre el proceso de construir y el proceso de habitar, es todo parte de un mismo acto, de una naturaleza, así como las aves habitan sus nidos mientras los realizan y modifican.

[ENG] In these texts, it could be interpreted that there is no separation between the process of building and the process of inhabiting, it is all part of the same act, of a nature, just as birds inhabit their nests while they are made and modified.

Quisiera aprovechar para saludar a @aplusd, @storiesoferne y @discoveringarni, que son los fundadores de la comunidad Architecture+Design . Quisiera comentarles que como estudiante de arquitectura, tengo varios proyectos e ideas que me gustaría compartir con toda la comunidad, también, que me parece una excelente iniciativa que es muy necesaria en la plataforma, ya que hay bastante gente interesada en este tema.
