This might be the biggest free agency signing ever for the Titans. Maybe there is an obvious player, but off the top of my head at this moment, I can't think of one.

The Titans have added a future first ballot Hall of Fame wide receiver to a team with a 1,000 yard Pro Bowl receiver AND a 2,000 yard Pro Bowl running back already.

To say I'm excited, would be an understatement. I can't stop thinking about it. I nearly screamed out of excitement while I was at work and found out about the whole thing. Just imagining the Titans lining up with these three players is outstanding. Plus, I love the quarterback Ryan Tannehill as well. People forget that Tannehill is an athlete and can run as well. I just think that's a good little wrinkle worth mentioning.

This is just so fantastic. I want a Julio jersey already, I want September to be here.

He seems healthy. That's always a topic of discussion when it comes to trades and star players, players of any sort really. Julio is 32 and he missed seven games last year and things like that. The dude seems really healthy, and that's great.

See for yourself here. If you just to a bit of scrolling, you will find some content of Julio Jones already at a Titans practice! It was so exciting to see that. That made it totally official when I saw that. He seems extremely healthy to me!

I mean, what are defenses going to really do against this team?

The Titans have the best running back in the NFL. They have a top three receiver, and arguably another top ten receiver. This team has a top twelve quarterback, arguably top ten.

The team does have other offensive players too by the way. The Titans signed WR Josh Reynolds who has shown really good potential. The Titans have TE Anthony Firkser who was just super reliable on third down conversions last season, he also has great potential. The Titans also drafted and signed several other receivers.

Having two stud number one receivers like Julio Jones and A.J. Brown right at the top, will only make the entire receiving core develop. The tone will be set, the standards will be set.

Another cool aspect of the team that pretty much nobody knows about except Titans fans, is the fact that the Titans do have decent hopes for a RB2. in the 2020 NFL Draft the Titans selected RB Darrynton Evans. Evans dealt with Covid shenanigans and some injuries in his rookie year, but he did show some flashes when he did play, which I'm excited about. Hopefully with a more proper offseason to learn develop and get healthy, year two will go a lot smoother for Darrynton Evans. If he can improve and make more of an impact on this team, that is yet another wrinkle on offense that opposing defenses won't see coming.

Now, a valid problem worth mentioning is that the Titans defense was a dumpster fire for much of the season last year. I can be biased and talk about injuries, and players having off years, but the bottom line is that last year the defense was not very good.

But to be more optimistic there is some good reason for hope.

• The Titans drafted heavily for defense in 2021
• Titans defense can get healthy (ILB Jayon Brown for example)
• Titans have a defensive-minded head coach in Mike Vrabel
• Titans re-hire defensive coach Jim Schwartz

All in all if the Titans can focus on the defense as much as possible, and if the offense can work hard to gel together well, than the Titans could very well be in Super Bowl contention.

The Titans have had five winning seasons in a row. The Titans have had three playoff appearances out of the last five. The culture is there, the roster is there, adding Julio is just perfect timing.

I still can't believe this happened. No matter what happens during the actual season, this excitement I am feeling for this upcoming season is something fun and special. I can't wait.
