Devoción zuliana - Mural(Esp/Ing)

Saludos querida comunidad. Es un placer compartir de nuevo con ustedes. En esta ocasión, compartiré un mural dedicado a la zulianidad realizado con la técnica abstracto figurativo, el cual está expuesto en el parque Guaquerí de la ciudad de Cumaná. Son varios los referentes que destacan en la obra, entre los cuales se observa a la Virgen de la Chiquinquirá y su Basílica sobre una canoa.

Greetings dear community. It is a pleasure to share with you again. On this occasion, I will share a mural dedicated to the zulianidad made with the abstract figurative technique, which is exposed in the Guaquerí park in the city of Cumaná. There are several references that stand out in the work, including the Virgin of Chiquinquirá and her Basilica on a canoe.

Una colorida mandala, una figura alegórica del sol, la imagen de las Águilas, equipo de béisbol profesional con mucha tradición, y la presencia de un barrio popular, posiblemente El Saladillo, acompañado de los instrumentos propios de la gaita, se encargan de enmarcar la obra.

A colorful mandala, an allegorical figure of the sun, the image of the Águilas, a professional baseball team with a long tradition, and the presence of a popular neighborhood, possibly El Saladillo, accompanied by bagpipe instruments, frame the work.

El diseño también presenta un carro de helados, en el Zulia se les dice "cepillados", al puente Rafael Urdaneta, a un papagayo, a un par de coloridas flores, semejantes a tulipanes, la sugerencia del Relámpago del Catatumbo. Sin duda, la artista privilegió a la religiosidad, además de la virgen y la iglesia se advierte un ángel en el cielo, como uno de los estandartes entre tantos elementos locales.

The design also presents an ice cream cart, in Zulia they are called "cepillados", the Rafael Urdaneta bridge, a parrot, a pair of colorful flowers, similar to tulips, the suggestion of the Relámpago del Catatumbo. Undoubtedly, the artist privileged religiosity, in addition to the virgin and the church, an angel in the sky can be seen as one of the banners among so many local elements.

Al utilizarse la técnica arriba descrita, el arte se inclina hacia la geometría y la simplicidad en las formas. El color es lo que más impacta, destacando el fondo azul concebido para proponer una sensación de movimiento. En este caso, el arte transmite tradiciones y cultura a través de imágenes muy bien organizadas. El arte logra transmitir diversas emociones.

By using the technique described above, the art leans towards geometry and simplicity of form. The color is what makes the most impact, highlighting the blue background conceived to propose a sensation of movement. In this case, the art transmits traditions and culture through very well organized images. The art manages to transmit diverse emotions.

La disposición de las distintas figuras luce acertada, se aprecia una transicion fluida entre ellas, destacando el cromatismo y el difuminado, utilizando los colores de la bandera de Venezuela. Tal intención se distingue en el apartado de las Águilas del Zulia, franquicia cuyos colores representativos son el naranja y el negro, pero acá se presenta mediante el blanco, el rojo y el verde.

The arrangement of the different figures looks successful, a smooth transition between them is appreciated, highlighting the chromaticism and blurring, using the colors of the Venezuelan flag. Such intention is distinguished in the section of the Águilas del Zulia, a franchise whose representative colors are orange and black, but here it is presented in white, red and green.

Por otro lado, la luminosidad se logra con el color blanco, hay pequeñas pinceladas que permiten que la obra respire. Hay que mencionar que aunque el mural original está realizado con pintura acrílica, este es una versión impresa que se colocó para decorar una de las paredes del Comando de la Guardia Nacional allí ubicado.

On the other hand, the luminosity is achieved with the white color, there are small brushstrokes that allow the work to breathe. It should be mentioned that although the original mural is made with acrylic paint, this is a printed version that was placed to decorate one of the walls of the National Guard Command located there.

Un símbolo particular es la figura del ángel que aparece en segundo plano, cual adorno decembrino que se elabora en metal, enmarcado en luces propias de la época. Para mí transmite esa espiritualidad propia de estas fechas.

A particular symbol is the figure of the angel that appears in the background, like a Christmas ornament made of metal, framed in lights typical of the season. For me it transmits that spirituality typical of these dates.

Los espirales aparecen como elementos recurrentes, conceden sensación de dinamismo como lo mencioné en párrafos anteriores. Se repite en cada plano, apareciendo en casi todas las figuras del diseño como la iglesia, la mandala, las casas o el papagayo, este símbolo se integra muy bien en las figuras.

The spirals appear as recurring elements, giving a sense of dynamism as I mentioned in previous paragraphs. It is repeated in each plane, appearing in almost all the figures of the design as the church, the mandala, the houses or the parrot, this symbol is very well integrated in the figures.

La artista plástico que realizó esta obra se llama Lili, quien es devota de la Virgen de la Chiquinquirá y eso se aprecia en el mural. Ella tiene un emprendimiento denominado Arte y Estilo, a través del cual ha logrado llegar a muchas personas alrededor del mundo. En sus obras queda plasmada su esencia y su estética. Ella es una zuliana que demuestra el amor por su región y su arte traspasa fronteras.

The plastic artist who made this work is called Lili, who is devoted to the Virgin of Chiquinquirá and that can be seen in the mural. She has an enterprise called Arte y Estilo, through which she has managed to reach many people around the world. Her works reflect her essence and aesthetics. She is a Zuliana who shows her love for her region and her art transcends borders.
