За вікном тепла осіння ніч, ще один тиждень щойно закінчився. А на годиннику уже субота, час для ініціативи #SaturdayMemories, створеної @olga.maslievich. Сьогодні я побачила, що вже існує окрема спільнота, куди можна публікувати приємні спогади про події, якими ви ще не ділилися.

У мене дуже багато таких спогадів, бо зазвичай повертаюсь із поїздки і з головою поринаю у роботу та буденні справи.

Outside the window a warm autumn night, another week had just ended. Technically it's already Saturday, it's time for the #SaturdayMemories initiative created by @olga.maslievich. Today I noticed that there is already a separate community where you can post nice memories of events that you have not yet shared.

I have a lot of such memories, because I usually come back from a trip and immerse myself in work and everyday affairs.

Сьогоднішній допис буде присвячений одному дню з моєї цьогорічної відпустки в Карпатах. Я народилася і виросла на Прикарпатті, і, здавалося б, маю знати про ці місця мало не все. Але це не так, і кожна моя поїздка - це щось нове і незабутнє.

Today's post will be dedicated to one day of my vacation in the Carpathians this year. I was born and raised in Prykarpattia region, and it would seem that I need to know almost everything about these places. But this is not the case, and on every my trip I find something new and unforgettable.

Як от ця маленька гірська річка Брустурка. Коли ми збирались у відпустку і планували відпочинок, я побачила на карті 2 місця, які позначені як "пляжі". Насправді, засмагати я не дуже люблю, і ми планували більше часу проводити в горах. Але того дня діти не захотіли в гори, і ми лишилися в селі.

Вони поїхали дивитись один водоспад Гук, а ми інший. Але дорогою було так спекотно, що ми вирішили сходити все ж таки на той пляж, подивитись. Сіли в машину... Смішно. Тому що під'їхати до річки і близько не було можливості. Довелось лишити її на подвір'ї у незнайомих (але привітних) людей, і спускатись круто вниз по ... ні, не по камінню. Якби ж то. А просто по скелях у в'єтнамках. Там, де не було скель, росла кропива.

Just as this small mountain river Brusturka. When I planned our vacation, I saw 2 locations on the map spotted as "beaches". Frankly speaking, I am not into sunbathing but a big fan of mountains, so we planned to have more hiking. But on that day, children were tired and wanted a relaxing day, so we stayed in the village.

They went to see one of Hook Falls and we went to another (there are 2 small waterfalls with the same name nearby). But the road was so hot that we decided to go to the beach and look around. We got in the car ... It's ridiculous. Because it was no way to get close to the river by car. We had to leave it in the courtyard of locals (friendly strangers), and go down steeply stepping on... no, not stones and boulders. If only. We went down the cliffs, I like a star in rubber slippers. Where there were no rocks, nettles grew.

Гуцульські пляжі виявились дуже суворими. Мабуть треба носити із собою ще й лежак, бо власне вляжу з доволі крупним, але округлим камінням було від сили 2 кв.м. Решта були скелі. Але які круті скелі!!!

Hutsul beaches turned out to be very harsh. Apparently, you probably need to grab a deck chair, because actually "the beach" or a place to lie down was about 2 sq.m large. The rest were rocks. But what cool rocks !!!

На фото добре видно, що вони дуже старі і утворились внаслідок зминання порід під час руху тектонічних плит. Виглядає, ніче гігантське кам'яне листкове тісто!

The photo clearly shows that they are very old and formed due to the crumbling and wrinkling of rocks during the movement of tectonic plates. Looks like a giant stone puff pastry!

Врешті ми перебрели через річку і знайшли на тому боці великий пласкай валун. На ньому я і розмістилася, на щастя його не затуляла тінь від дерев. Бо після крижаної гірської води хотілось зігрітись.

Чоловік мій не може довго всидіти на місці, тим більше на сонці, тим більше, якщо поруч вода. І він пішов на ризик - поліз купатись. Судячи з виразу обличчя, купання було незабутнім, хоч і коротким :)

Eventually we crossed the river and found a large flat boulder on the other side. I settled on it, fortunately it was not in the shade of trees. Because I really needed to warm up after walking in freezing water.

My husband can't sit still for long, especially in the sun, especially if there is water nearby. And he took a risk - went swimming. Judging by the expression on his face, the swim was unforgettable, albeit short :)

Загалом, нічого особливого, але це місце мені дуже сподобалось. Дочка потім дуже шкодувала, що вони не поїхали з нами.

In general, nothing special, but I really liked this place. The daughter then was very sorry that they did not come with us.
