Happy Wednesday, stackers and Hivers!!! Thank you for letting me share my love of stacking silver coins.

Every year, I acquire the current year release of bullion silver coins from the different World Mints as they are released. It is one fun way to keep stacking boredom at bay.

These are the 2020 World Mint coins that I have shown on my blog so far:

  • 2020 Royal Australian Mint Year of the Rat
  • 2020 Australian Silver Swan
  • 2020 South African Silver Krugerrand
  • 2020 Silver Phoenix of South Korea
  • 2020 Rwanda MayFlower Nautical Ounce
  • 2020 China Silver Panda
  • 2020 Australian Silver Dragon
  • 2020 Great Britain Silver Britannia
  • 2020 Silver Kookaburra, 30th Anniversary Coin

  • This next World Mint coin featured in this article is by the Bavarian State Mint which produces the Somalia Silver Elephant Series on behalf of Somalia.

The coins are produced by the German mint each year and that extends back to the 1999-2003 release of the coins on behalf of Zambia.

The African elephant is the largest terrestrial land mammal in the world today. The bush elephant species is depicted in the designs of the Somalia Silver Elephant Series, which is the largest land mammal in the world and larger than its cousin the forest elephant. The animals grow to impressive sizes given the fact that elephants subsist on a diet of greens as herbivores.

2020 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coin (BU)

17th release of the Somalia Silver Elephant coins, contains 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure silver, a face value of 100 Shillings (Somali).

    REVERSE

On the reverse side of the 2020 1 oz Somalia Silver Elephant Coin is a new design for the 2020 coins in the collection. This side includes two large adult elephants squaring off face to face with one another. Each of these bush elephants has large tusks with the trunk of one lifted slightly in the air. Behind them, Africas tallest peak at Mount Kilimanjaro is depicted rising toward the sky.

    😍 #ilikeitalot!😍

    OBVERSE

The obverse of all 2020 Somalia Silver Elephant Coins includes the design of the coat of arms for Somalia. This crest includes a single star on a shield with horizontal lines and a crown at the top of the shield. The crest is supported on each side by leopards with two spears and fern leaves crossed below the design.

I started stacking because I was inspired by the community stackers of YouTube who uploaded videos about the silver and gold they were accumulating. It just made so much sense to me to save in silver and gold. After a few months of stacking, I too decided to open a YouTube channel to then started blogging in steemit and now Hive to share my journey in saving precious metals. I am glad to hear that my articles on precious metals inspire you, @psychkrhoz. It makes the time and effort doing these articles so worth it!
I appreciate yourthoughtful comment, my friend, @psychkrhoz. Have a fantastic day, and take care🥰🌺🤙

Ummmm... there are just a handful of female stackers in YouTube, And unfortunately, my channel was trolled by some peeps, so I stopped uploading videos and deleted most of the earlier ones. But here is the link to my channel, and do enjoy it. I've been uploading videos via 3Speak here on Hive lately. Did you check out the video on this article above? O usually post only a minute long videos. Thanks again for your support, my friend!

One Question Sis, If I kissed a Somali elephant would it turn into a Splinter lands character?
Beautiful coin Sis.
Always, with love 🌺💓🌹🤗🌻🥰💐

Hehehe, you are so funny, sis! You must be having a blissful vacation 🌻🥰💐! How's the current-day value of your stack doing! An exciting time for flippers for sure! But who'd be buying silver at this time? Only fools the taken by the hype, hehehe, and me and you, of course, because we continue to stack in spite of spot price... although perhaps going for the lesser priced bullion.
Have a fabulous week, my lovely sis @kerrislravenhill. Take care 🥰🌺🤙, lots of love💓💝 and a million and one Hugs and Kisses 🤗💕💋!

I'm now low on cash due to some major bills and expenses coming due.
You know I've already spent the bulk of my stacking back on March just after the PM Price massacre. I recognize a SALE when I see it! I am only picking up the odd coin here and there.
Replenishing my sleep and cash accounts but first I get my Kid some driving practice I promised him.
Hugs and Kisses.

What an awesome and caring mommie you are! You kid will surely remember the times you spend with him one-on-one teaching and being with him as he learns the life skill of driving a vehicle. I have never forgotten the times my Dad, my Mom, and my siblings spent with me learning how to drive. Oh yes, I recall the EPIC purchase you made starting from the time you attended that coin show, and the succeeding acquisitions and culminating in large Scottsdale bars and Mutiny Metals hand-poured silver! ANd while you replenish your sleep, the price of your stack just goes up and up, LOL!!! Enjoy the time with family, sis! xoxo🤗💕💋

Currency shillings nice, it's a big elephant on a small coin. The tables have turned

Hehehe... a big elephant on a small coin... and I did not think of it that way! How are you doing! You stack is now valued more than when you got them. Many are happy that the spot price of silver broke $23.00. But of course it will fluctuate. Keep stacking, my friend @teenagecrypto, and take care🥰🌺🤙

The Somali Elephant is a good collection to have because the design changes yearly. I always look forward to the yearly release of these coins, along with the kooks and koala.
Have a lovely evening, my friend @maddogmike, and take care 🥰🌺🤙

I love the Obverse of this Somalia Elephant Coin @silversaver888😀 The coat of arms for Somalia with the side by side leopards with two spears is very striking!
Very nice that they minted this in .9999 I always look for the four nines coins!😀
Take care and have a wonderful night my friend😍😍😀

.. and 2 oz silver.. I know you like those. Well, the elephants now come in different sizes. I forgot when they started doing that. But I only am interested in the 1 oz size myself. I dunno if I should be buying silver with the increased spot price. I have so much of it, perhaps it is time to just ride out the wave of high spot price.
Have a wonderful evening, my friend @silvertop, and take care 🥰🌺🤙

Thats a very tough call @silversaver888... I remember the last big silver run up took some time to completely top out. I was holding some mining stock (still am ) and then the prices dropped.
The same with the big crypto run up a while back, I never can time the top of the market LOL!🙃

I am sitting tight on silver at the moment, just to see which way the wind blows.
I also sold a bit of crypto, I have learned not to be too greedy looking for that magical top LOL!!!
Long reply... Wow.....Have a good day my friend!!😍😍😀

I like this series, but I lost a few of the early years and their prices are a little expensive...

I am a little late in Hive! Sorry!
I am glad that you like it. You are right. I wanted to get the earlier years because I only have those from when I started stacking, but I can't afford them. I'd rather put the money towards getting the US commemorative half dollar and US Dollars on my list, lie the 1925 California commemorative.
Have a good evening, my friend @ronavel, take care 🥰🌺🤙

Yes, The Somalia Silver Elephant Coins are one of my favorites. The early ones are so rare that they are almost impossible to find, at least at a reasonable price. In 2016 they went from .999 to .9999 Silver. They also come in fractionals and Kilos. Thanks again for sharing, Silversaver888.

You are very well versed with the Elephants! Gosh.. the early years are expensive! I wish I could afford to get all the beautiful coins. I still want to get the US Commemorative Half Dollar California and Oregon Trail first before anything.
Hav a lovely evening, my friend @cve3, and take care 🥰🌺🤙

That is beautiful! Extremely shiny and proof like. Elephants are majestic animals. It's always been apparent to me that they feel and have emotions. They never forget. The details are lovely and this is a nice addition to your stack, sis! Thank you for sharing and have a lovely night!💕🤗
