The community starting August with a bang. All the boring stuff....

And POOF!! Just like that July is done, gone, over, for another year. So all that's now to say is welcome to August..... We all know what the first of the month means, so dig deep folks, our community needs you.

So let's take a minute and take a deeper look at the account that supports the #silvergoldstacker community here on #hive:

The @ssg-community account is currently upvoting the quality content generated by the community with a 204k HivePower upvote. This should make sure that the information and content this community loves to talk about gets noticed here on the hive blockchain.

Remember that members get a MAXIMUM of 7 upvotes per week, but for the sake of the VOTING POWER could we please try and limit it to one high quality blog per 24hrs.

Any member of the #silvergoldstacker community can get access to the upvotes from this account simply by delegating HP. The @ssg-community account can accommodate any HP amount from 1 - 2500HP. At present 2500HP delegation, gets high quality content a 60% daily upvote, worth approximately $1.70.

So by delegating to our account, not only are you helping yourself grow, but you're also helping other members, new and old, to grow here on HIVE. If you don't have the HP spare, then sending hive payments every month, at an equivalent rate of 2% of HP can also get you a daily upvote:

2500 X 0.02 = 50Hive
1000 X 0.02 = 20Hive
Etc.......

All hive is used to increase the HP balance through leasing HivePower, but going forward, in order to sustain a constant HP figure, migrating over to all delegation from members is the goal.

So the @ssg-community wallet is still looking very healthy, and thanks to all you fantastic guys and gals producing excellent posts, the accounts income from curation has managed to sustain this account for over 18 months now without the need for another #monsterraffle.

I still believe that as a community we were pioneers in the field of community accounts. We must still be the only (if not the only one of the few) community account that is run on a "NOT FOR PROFIT" basis..... Every single HIVE generated goes back in to helping the community grow and not to the pocket of the person running it. We really are run by the community, for the community.

I've only had a bried time to have a quick glance over, but it looks like the voting account is looking for new communities to curate, so I was thinking that maybe members could start to write and put our community forward for nomination to #ocd. Just a thought, but during these tough times, every little helps and it could also bring our community to the attention of new members wishing to join.

Sorry for my ramblings, but I don't get these posts out as often as I'd like, so there is a lot to go through. The @ssg-community account is still looking for "ghost writers" to produce content other members will find helpful /useful.
