People of PALESTINE

In 1948, Palestine welcomed jews when no one else would take them in and today, this is how they are being repayed. They are being repayed with a genocide of houses and hospitals. Their electricity, water, food and communication supplies are cut offby israel. This is what they get for taking them in.

You know what's worse? its that people are turning a blind eye to this genocide taking place simply because of the fact that Palestine is a Muslim country. People refuses to show humanity and some will try to disguise their support towards the genocide by saying they're 'neutral'.

Whenever someone tries to talk about Palestine, they will bring up the holocaust as if it was done by Muslims. They will try to justify the killing of innocent lives. Just because hamas, a singular group did something, why is that every Palestinian is attacked? How come they say they're targeting the terrorists yet the entirety of Palestine is suffering because of them? They have been ethnically cleansing Palestinians for 70+ years and no one says anything, but whe ONE group from their side does smth, they are suddenly terrorists.

A message that was sent by a woman in Gaza:

"if Allah lifted the veil for you just ten minutes and you could see the sky of Palestine, you would see a sight of wonder. Waves of angels racing to ascend with the souls of the martyrs to Allah in a spacial celebration. i swear by Allah, besides whom there is no god but Him, the sky in filled with the scent of perfume! These people completed their test in this world, so there in no need for them to stay in this world. Allah has chosen them for Paradise".

"The war will end. The leaders will shake hands. The old women will keep waiting for her martyed son. That girl will wait gor her beloved husband. And those children will wait for heroic father. I don't know who sold homeland. But i saw who paid the Price".

Mahmoud Darwish

'If Israel deserves a minute of silence then Palestine deserves the world to never speak again'.

Karim Wafa Al-Hussaini

This world is cruel and unfair. May ALLAH (SWT) save the People of Palestine, Ameen.

There are some things here with which I fundamentally disagree, yet the root of the problem is likely something we can both acknowledge: Hamas as a terrorist group. Without their interference and control, Israel and its surrounding countries were making great progress towards peace. Every time Hamas interferes, they disrupt all progress - and this is purposeful. They then use innocent Palestinian lives as shields and blame Israel for the deaths, even though they consistently instigate the conflicts. It's been their strategy for many years, and they unfortunately make numerous people believe that Israel is the one committing crimes when Hamas' entire purpose is to destroy Israel because it's a Jewish state! Their tactics are very effective and cost the lives of many innocent Palestinians and Israelis because when Israel is faced with such attacks... well, they can't just sit back and do nothing - they must fight the terrorist group. This is actually a perfect example of how terrorism works: they leave you with no good choices. Innocent people end up hurt, and their mission is accomplished. If we can eliminate the common enemy, then we have a chance at reaching the peace that people have been striving to achieve for such a long time.

Yep. Israel is left with the unenviable task of deciding whether or not to attack a hospital or letting the terrorists using it as a shield succeed in their goal (and they succeed to some extent either way). And on the other side, how can Palestinians who have loved ones killed by Israeli attacks do anything but hate Israel? This is a situation that can't improve until Hamas is gone.

Exactly, Palestinians are placed in a situation where their loved ones are harmed by a clear force. In their position, forgiveness under the circumstances would be asking a lot more than most people can handle. I can only imagine that if they were made aware of how they're being used, they might be able to be part of the fight against the common enemy.

The overarching concern is that, even if Hamas is eliminated, the brewing hatred among Palestinians would lead to the emergence of another group with the same intent. It's such a vicious cycle - Hamas was not the first.

By the way, I hope that anyone who chooses to comment here will indulge in respectful discourse. It's not a rule to do so, but rather an opportunity to use our brains rather than our emotions. Literally just don't say anything illegal! 😂

This is a perfect example where we encourage freedom of speech even if it goes against our fundamental values (in this particular case, mine). The FreeCompliments community is standing by this essential value.

This is why countries Japan, and Vietnam, have the right idea today: You have to protect your borders and keep citizenship exclusively for descendants of your particular country or you could eventually lose your country. Did the Palestinian government really consent to having an enclave of a new state be taken from their own? As I understand it the UN forced it on them.

There was nothing resembling a Palestinian state before the end of World War I and the British Mandate. Before that, that region was controlled by the Ottoman Empire for hundreds of years before. The history before that is complicated with the area changing hands both in terms of political rule, religion and other demographics a number of times over the centuries. At the time of the British Mandate, the area was sparsely populated (less than 500,000 total or something along those lines from what I recall which included the area that is Israel today). The population grew pretty fast after that:

"The first official census was taken in Palestine in 1922, by the British mandated government. In that occasion a total population of 757,182 individuals was found, of whom 590,390 were Muslims, 83,694 Jews, and 73,024 Christians."

That's still nothing compared to the ~15 million today

That seems like a lot. It is 20 times the size in a hundred years. A quick calculation sets this at 3% per year. I had some time in 2020. So at the time, I looked at world population growth at the time, and found that the average world population growth has never been much more than 2% in 5000 years. I guess the women there never put the d*ck down.

Many of the people in Palestine do not descend from people who have been there for a hundred years (or more). Many came from other countries. I think immigration played a big role in the past (doubtful that is true these days). A lot of that immigration occurred from Muslim countries post World War I after the Ottoman Empire collapsed. And of course there was a lot of Jewish immigration leading up to, during, and immediately after World War II.

Seriously, world population growth is organic meaning it comes from reproduction of those already there. With immigration or invasion I can understand it being much higher than the average world population growth.
