I never played Crusader Kings back when I was gaming but it does look pretty interesting. It has that CIV vibe by the looks of the screenshot you sent.
You're right about the music, it's well on point for the type of gameplay. I can imagine how immersed you could get with that track playing in the background from the clip lol.

Yeah, Grand Strategy Games are basically games like Civ on steroids and on asymmetrical starts, instead of everyone starting with settlers and growing, you play as characters in nations that already exist and you can shape them and the world however you want, by warfare or diplomatically!
Damn dude, that sounds super fun. I'd lose days in this lol
