Splinterlands - They said you can't have nice rewards in the lower leagues...

That's a big lie.

One thing I really like about Splinterlands is that the game is based on rewarding everyone, not just the top players or gamers that "pay" to win.

Players like being rewarded. This is why I think Splinterlands could become really huge in the future, when the mobile app and other things are finally finalized and developed.

This model is not new and can be found pretty much in all popular Valve's games. Team Fortress 2, Dota 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive... They are free to play games that are not pay to win. It's only about cosmetics that can enhance your experience. Sometimes you can open a chest and even end up in a profit. Cosmetics are a really huge market.

It's not only about this though, the community is also a huge part of it and the game updates that keep the game fresh too.

Maybe that's why Team Fortress 2 is still so big. Even though the game is 13 years old, it is still being played by over 80000 gamers right now!

So back to Splinterlands now.

I am in the gold league, nothing extra, but look at what I opened today from my daily quest. I really think that even players in the Bronze league can sometimes open nice things too and be encouraged enough to play more so that they can obtain all the cards they need to push themselves to the higher leagues.

See you in the game!
