Asphalt 8: Airborne. Comparing 8 with 9. Infection Special - Solo Racing.

Hi Guys,

In my previous post, I introduced you guys to the game named "Asphalt 9: Legends." I also said that I became a fan of the asphalt series after playing the game named "Asphalt 8: Airborne". And that is why I decided to introduce you to this game too.

But, as I've already explained about Asphalt 9, there is not much left to talk about Asphalt 8 now. And that is why I decided to talk about the small facts that are different in Asphalt 8 from 9. And also about the facts that I like or dislike in 8 and the things, I think that needed to be in 8 too.

I know that as 9 is the upgraded version of 8, there will be some lacking in the previous version as usual. But, I'll try to bring out only those facts that don't have anything to do with the versions.

Things I like in Asphalt 8 are:-

• The Bike Racing mode:

I know, there are many bike racing games. But, I don't know any other racing games where you can race cars with bikes.

• The Solo Mode:

This is the mode I was playing on the video. In this mode, you can easily choose which mode, what cars, and on what map you want to play the game in. This doesn't even have any effect on your career results and the best option is to experience all the modes and maps before you can reach those levels in your career. It's also helpful for practicing and helps a lot to make your hands clear on the tough maps so that you can win the real matches easily.

• The Graphics:

I know that Asphalt 8 doesn't have any rich graphics like asphalt 9. But, still, the graphics of Asphalt 8 has some real vibes and I like it this way.

• Nitro Bottles and The Nitro mode:

In Asphalt 9, the nitro bottles stay the same even after any other player takes them and every player can get a bottle at the same time. But, in asphalt 8, it takes some to respond again and it makes it hard for other players to grab the same nitro bottle and also gives the player in the front an opportunity to make his distance longer from the first player.

Also, in asphalt 9, the nitro mode stays on even after you jump from somewhere (airtime). You can also trigger the nitro mode while flying in the air. This thing is good. But, I prefer the system of Asphalt 8, here the nitro mode gets canceled after the jump and the nitro mode cannot be triggered while the car is in the air.
I know this makes things hard, but I like challenges.

The list of the things that I don't like about Asphalt 8 is not that long. I think that they need to add the normal flat spin on asphalt 8. In asphalt 9 you can easily do a flat spin by clicking on the break twice. But, in asphalt 8 you can only do a flat spin if you drive your car right before the jump. Also, the controls work way better in asphalt 8 than in asphalt 9. Nothing more.

Now about the gameplay:-

In this video, I played the solo mode in asphalt 8. I chose the infection mode and several maps. I had played this game before and had some idea about the maps. This is why I had only chosen the beautiful and challenging maps to play.
