The Yaksha Guardian: Xiao | The Great Demon Hunter | Genshin Impact [ENG][ESP]

When the darkness comes and the demons scourge the villages, the Yaksha warriors will have the task.... I don't know what I'm writing hahaha, I just wanted to start with some emotion. Welcome once again to one of my writings about something related to Genshin Impact, a game that has captured almost all my attention. This time I want to talk about Xiao, a very interesting character with an unparalleled destructive power.

Bienvenidos una vez mas a uno de mis escritos sobre algo relacionado a Genshin Impact, un juego que ha capturado casi toda mi atención. En esta oportunidad quiero hablarles sobre Xiao, un personaje bastante interesante y con un poder destructivo sin igual.

Xiao is an adeptus, a kind of magical being with the aura of a god, capable of using the power of anemo, or wind, to face his enemies. Xiao is also known as the great demon hunter or The Yaksha Guardian. The story of this character is very interesting and goes out of the things we are used to see in Genshin Impact, something I like since the attached stories are expanding more and more.

Xiao es un adeptus, una especie de ser mágico con aura de Dios, capaz de utilizar el poder anemo o viento, para hacer frente a sus enemigos. Xiao es conocido también como el gran cazador de demonios o El Guardián Yaksha. La historia de este personaje es muy interesante y se sale de las cosas que estamos acostumbrados a ver en Genshin Impact, algo que me gusta ya que las historias anexas se están ampliando cada vez más.

According to history, the Yaksha were tasked with protecting the land of Liyue from all danger. According to the story, there was a great war between the gods. The battle was so great and powerful that from the remains of the gods who died, demons were created that terrorized the people of Liyue. Rex Lapis, the God of Liyue and a character I will talk about later, wishing to protect his people, summoned a group of warriors and gave them the task of destroying this demonic evil that was advancing without stopping.

De acuerdo a la historia, los Yaksha tenían la tarea de proteger a la tierra de Liyue, de todo peligro. De acuerdo a la historia, hubo una gran guerra entre Dioses. La batalla fue tan grande y poderosa, que de los restos de los dioses que murieron, se crearon demonios que aterrorizaban a los pueblos de Liyue. Rex Lapis, el Dios de Liyue y un personaje del cual les hablare después, queriendo proteger a sus pueblos, convocó a un grupo de guerreros y les dio la tarea de acabar con este mal demoniaco que avanzaba sin parar.

This is why Xiao is known as the great demon hunter. Although the story behind this character seems interesting, it gets darker and darker and this is because he is the only Yaksha left. The demonic darkness they faced corrupted their bodies and in order to cope with it, over time, some of them got lost, killed each other or fell in combat.

De esto es que se le conoce a Xiao como el gran cazador de demonios. Aunque la historia detrás de este personaje parece interesante, se va poniendo cada vez mas oscura y esto se debe a que es el único Yaksha que queda. La oscuridad demoniaca a la que se enfrentaban, corrompía su cuerpo y para poder hacerle frente, con el paso del tiempo, algunos de ellos se perdieron, se mataron entre si o cayeron en combate.

This past still affects Xiao and although hundreds of years have passed since those events, as an adeptus, he continues to protect the land of Liyue, not from demons, but from other forces that we are slowly discovering as the main story of the game progresses. Xiao is one of my favorite characters, I feel that his story has a lot of potential to continue exploring and I really hope to find a game where the 5 Yakshas are used and we relive the past of those great battles.

Este pasado todavía afecta a Xiao y aunque ya han pasado cientos de años desde aquellos acontecimientos, como ser adeptus, sigue protegiendo a la tierra de Liyue, no de demonios, sino de otras fuerzas que poco a poco estamos descubriendo mientras avanza la historia principal del juego. Xiao es uno de mis personajes favoritos, siento que su historia tiene mucho potencial para seguir explorando y la verdad espero encontrarme con algún juego donde se utilicen a los 5 Yakshas y revivamos el pasado de esas grandes batallas.

Regarding Xiao and his battle style, he uses a spear as his main weapon. His fighting style is strongest when he is in the air, as he is able to cause the most damage possible when he performs a falling attack. His combo hits cover a large area and make him a non-stop attacking machine.

Con respecto a Xiao y a su estilo de batalla, utiliza una lanza como arma principal. Su estilo de lucha es mas fuerte cuando se encuentra en el aire, ya que es capaz de causar el mayor daño posible cuando realiza un ataque en caída. Su combo de golpes abarca una gran área y lo convierte en una maquina para atacar sin parar.

His elemental ability consists of a dash with his spear, which has an anemo element all over it. This dash is very useful to move quickly in battle or even to dodge deadly hits.

Su habilidad elemental consiste en una embestida con su lanza, la cual tiene elemento anemo por todos lados. Esta embestida es de mucha utilizad para moverse rápidamente en batalla o incluso esquivar golpes mortales.

Like all characters in Genshin Impact, Xiao has a maximum power or burst. However, this power is not like that of the other characters. Xiao pulls out his Yakshas mask and for a certain amount of time, he is able to deliver stronger blows and cause anemo damage with each of them. But this is not all, when Xiao has the mask on, he is able to jump very high and then make a falling blow to cause damage in an exaggerated way. Not everything is perfect, while Xiao has the mask on, the life points will be consumed every second.

Como todos los personajes en Genshin Impact, Xiao cuenta con un poder máximo o un burts. Sin embargo, este poder no es como el de los demás personajes. Xiao saca su mascara de Yakshas y durante un tiempo determinado, es capaz de dar golpes mas fuertes y causar daño anemo con cada uno de ellos. Pero esto no es todo, cuando Xiao tiene la mascara puesta, es capaz de saltar muy alto para luego hacer un golpe en caída y así causar daño de manera exagerada. No todo es perfecto, mientras Xiao tenga la mascara puesta, los puntos de vida se van a ir consumiendo cada segundo.

Xiao can be a great killing machine if he is equipped with artifacts that boost anemo damage and we use his maximum power constantly. I have particularly equipped him with physical damage and more attack, to level up between normal attacks and when he is in Yakshas mode.

Xiao puede ser una gran maquina asesina si se le equipan artefactos que potencian el daño anemo y usamos su máximo poder de manera constante. Yo particularmente lo he equipado con daño físico y mas ataque, para nivelar entre los ataques normales y cuando está en modo Yakshas.

Xiao was a character I got some time ago and I had pending to write about him. He is a character that can't be missing in my team, when it comes to play the abyss or any domain. You will understand that when Xiao equips the mask, the battle is over. Besides, the battle is very artistic and I particularly love that everything looks good, the effects and colors must stand out, even if the battle takes me more time.

Xiao fue un personaje que obtuve hace un tiempo atrás y tenia pendiente escribir sobre él. Es un personaje que no puede faltar en mi equipo, cuando se trata de jugar el abismo o algún dominio. Ya entenderán que cuando Xiao se equipa la máscara, ya se acabó la batalla. Además, la batalla es muy artística y particularmente me encanta que todo se vea bien, los efectos y colores deben resaltar, así la batalla me tome más tiempo.
