It's been a long time since I made my last post, I think it's been about three weeks since I last wrote. Many things have happened these days, the most important bank in the country was "Hacked", basically all the funds stored in my mother's account disappeared out of nowhere. Then electricity problems in the area (very frequent blackouts) and along with these blackouts, the bad internet connection. All these days I could have made content of games I played some time ago, simple content, but honestly I didn't feel comfortable with that, I didn't feel like writing, I felt lost.

The internet has improved, it still fails but it seems to be more stable, yesterday I could test it with a game that was recently released on mobile devices and that in my opinion is pretty good and is one of the best I've played on a smartphone.

Pokémon Unite

All these days to cheer up a little I was talking with friends through groups in Discord or TeamSpeak, it was a little frustrating since I was automatically disconnected from the chat and I could not listen to them or I was talking alone without them being able to hear me. Yesterday I felt that it was the day when I had less disconnections, there were very few times when my internet failed. My friends told me about this new Pokémon game and I decided to download it. The game has a size of 540mb and then inside the game you download an additional 500mb(high definition graphics, they are optional). After 6 hours I had the game installed and after a few minutes I started playing with my friends.

The first impression I had after playing several games is how well optimized the game is, or at least it seems so to me. My phone never got hot, something that always happens after playing any game for a while but this time it didn't happen, pretty good and curious too, what did the developers of the game do to make it perform so well? Anyway, I was quite surprised to see that the game was quite well polished despite being recent, at least on mobile, my friends explained to me that the game already existed for Nintendo Switch.

The main genre of this game is MOBA, just like League Of Legends or Dota but with some different mechanics, it's not about turrets and nexus, this time each team consists of control points, which they must protect to prevent the enemy team from scoring points. The team that scores the most points will be the winner of the game. It's funny, it's a fusion of Basketball with MOBA.

I read some reviews saying that Pokémon Unite is a Pay To Win game, but to tell the truth I feel it's a pretty normal game, the one who plays better wins. You can spend money out of your pocket if you want skins and that kind of silly stuff to make your character more attractive and customize it, the Pokémon also have skins and they are quite fun. In the 7 hours I've been playing the game I've almost maxed out the items I use the most, these give me a lot of damage if I equip them on a Pokémon.

The game servers are in another place, for now that's the only obstacle, I play with quite high MS but it's still quite playable, it's not like in other games of the same style. I guess if the game continues to be successful they will improve the servers little by little, but for now the game experience is quite enjoyable, the controls are pretty basic, although at first it may seem complicated and that the game contains too many menus, but it's like everything, you get used to just by playing.

By default the game started me in maximum graphics, a rate of 30 FPS stable but in teamfights fell quite a lot. Then I put them on normal and I could play pretty well at 59 fps stable, sometimes if there were too many skills in the same place they dropped a little, not bad for a low end mobile like mine.

The game has several game modes, including rankeds. On my first day I won a lot of games and went up to High 1, I guess that's equivalent to silver rank in other games. I haven't played all day today, I will probably play again tomorrow if my friends are available. I find the game very entertaining, it can get you quite hooked if you are one of those players who like to be good at something and be really competitive. The 4vs4 mode is my favorite, the games are super short and there is a lot of action in the first seconds.

In conclusion, it's a game that doesn't take up too much space on your device, it has pretty good graphics, decent gameplay, several game modes, variety of items, customization, you can play with up to 10 friends to see who is the best, in short, it's very entertaining and I highly recommend it. With my bad connection and my low mood, this game entertained me a lot and I could have a good time. It's currently available for IOS and Android, I'm not sure if it can be played decently on emulator, it all depends on Nintendo's policies, they are very strict with that. Without further ado, I'm glad I found a reason and some inspiration to write. Writing for me is pretty easy, creating content too, but I can't do it if I don't feel good, I don't like to do things for the sake of doing things. See you soon my boomers!

Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que hice mi último post, creo que han pasado unas tres semanas desde la última vez que escribí. Muchas cosas han pasado estos días, el banco más importante del país fue "Hackeado", básicamente todos los fondos que almacenaba en la cuenta de mi madre desaparecieron de la nada. Luego problemas de electricidad en la zona(apagones muy frecuentes) y junto a estos apagones, la mala conexión a internet. Todos estos días pude haber realizado contenido de juegos que jugué hace un tiempo, contenido simple, pero sinceramente no me sentía cómodo con eso, no tenía las ganas suficientes para escribir, me sentía perdido.

El internet ha mejorado, sigue fallando pero parece estar más estable, ayer pude testearlo con un juego que recién se estrenó en dispositivos móviles y que a mi parecer está bastante bien y es de lo mejorcito que he jugado en un smartphone.

Ayer sentí que fue el día en el que menos desconexiones tuve, fueron muy pocas las veces en las que mi internet falló. Mis amigos me hablaron acerca de este nuevo juego de Pokémon y decidí descargarlo. El juego tiene un tamaño de 540mb y luego dentro del juego se descargan 500mb adicionales(gráficos de alta definición, son opcionales). Después de 6 horas ya tenía el juego instalado y después de unos minutos comencé a jugar con mis amigos.

La primera impresión que tuve después de jugar varias partidas es lo bien optimizado que está el juego, o al menos a mi me lo parece. Mi teléfono nunca se calentó, cosa que sucede siempre después de jugar cualquier juego un rato pero esta vez no sucedió, bastante bueno y curioso también ¿Qué habrán hecho los desarrolladores del juego para que se desempeñe tan bien? En fin, me sorprendió bastante ver que el juego estaba bastante bien pulido a pesar de ser reciente, al menos en móvil, mis amigos me explicaron que el juego ya existía para Nintendo Switch.

El género principal de este juego es MOBA, así como League Of Legends o Dota pero con algunas mecánicas distintas, no se trata de torretas y nexos, esta vez cada equipo consta de puntos de control, los cuales deben de proteger para evitar que el equipo enemigo anote puntos. Leí algunas reseñas que decían que Pokémon Unite es un juego Pay To Win, pero a decir verdad siento que es un juego bastante normal, gana el que mejor juegue. Puedes gastar dinero de tu bolsillo si quieres skins y ese tipo de cosas tontas para hacer a tu personaje más atractivo y personalizarlo, los Pokémon también disponen de skins y son bastante divertidas. En las 7 horas que tengo de juego ya casi he maximizado los items que más utilizo, estos me otorgan bastante daño si se los equipo a algún Pokémon.

Los servidores del juego se encuentran en otro lugar, por ahora esa es la única traba, juego con MS bastante altos pero es bastante jugable aún así, no es como en otros juegos del mismo estilo. Supongo que si el juego sigue teniendo éxito irán mejorando los servidores poco a poco, pero por ahora la experiencia de juego es bastante amena, los controles son bastante básicos, aunque al principio puede parecer complicado y que el juego contiene demasiados menús, pero es como todo, te acostumbras con solo jugar.

Luego los puse en normal y pude jugar bastante bien a 59 fps estables, a veces si habían demasiadas habilidades en el mismo sitio bajaban un poco, no está nada mal para un equipo gama baja como el mío.

El juego cuenta con varios modos de juego, incluyendo rankeds. En mi primer día gané muchas partidas y subí hasta Alto 1, supongo que equivale a rango plata en otros juegos. Hoy no he jugado en todo el día, probablemente mañana vuelva a jugar un rato si mis amigos se encuentran disponibles. El juego me parece muy entretenido, nada del otro mundo, pero si puede llegar a enganchar bastante si eres de esos jugadores a los que les gusta ser buenos en algo y ser realmente competitivos. El modo 4vs4 es mi favorito, las partidas son super cortas y hay mucha acción en los primeros segundos.

En conclusión, es un juego que no pesa demasiado, tiene gráficos bastante buenos, jugabilidad decente, varios modos de juego, variedad de items, personalización, puedes jugar hasta con 10 amigos para ver quién es el mejor, en resumen, es muy entretenido y se los recomiendo bastante. Con mi mala conexión y mi estado bajo de ánimo, este juego me entretuvo bastante y la pude pasar bien. Actualmente está disponible para IOS y Android, no estoy seguro de si podrá jugarse decente en emulador, todo depende de las políticas de Nintendo, ellos son muy estrictos con eso. Sin más, me alegra haber encontrado un motivo y un poco de inspiración para escribir. Escribir para mi es bastante sencillo, crear contenido también, pero no puedo hacerlo si no me siento bien, no me gusta hacer las cosas por hacer. Nos vemos pronto mis boomers!
