I recommend turning of the lights.

If you like action and adventure games with a great touch of science fiction, then you will love this game.

Prototype is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Radical Entertainment and released in mid-2008 for various platforms. This game is one of the most played games in my life since I loved it as a child, besides it was one of the few games that my PC could run at that time. It has a lot of genius and new features that were amazing to me at the time, plus it has a great resemblance to the classic Spider-Man games.

Story

The story takes place in a strange company in the city of Manhattan. The protagonist of this story is called Alex Mercer, who for some reason is asleep and about to receive an autopsy by some scientists.

These scientists run away with a lot of fear because our character wakes up and they are attacked by armed soldiers.

Alex will be seen by the soldiers who proceed to attack him, so our character in order to save himself starts to run, but he is hit by enemy bullets, but calmly, absolutely nothing happens to him. At that moment Alex discovers that he has superhuman abilities.

Gameplayability

I have to say, I'd play this game a thousand times over. It's a game that slowly becomes a Sandbox and the freedom you get is a lot of fun.

Our character has a huge amount of skills that you can improve every time you advance in the story, defeat monsters and kill enemy soldiers.

As I mentioned before, Prototype is a game that reminds me a lot of the classic Spider-Man games. You can climb buildings, jump buildings from side to side, walk the streets and you can interact with the people there. It's a lot of fun to go around smashing everything up, plus it has a great story that you can follow through its other games.

Visual Section

I remember when I was a kid and my father bought a computer, this was the first game I installed on my own computer. I used to hang out in cybercafes and that's where I played various games but Prototype was the first game I installed with my own hands. And when I played it I was very surprised by the graphics that it had. It's a game that almost any computer can run on good frames.

Prototype is a game with a lot of animations, plus it contains a city full of civilians who have some artificial intelligence. For a game of the year 2008 I think these graphics are spectacular. If it is true that the civilians are not very varied and we can find several with the same textures, but it is not much to complain about.

Soundtrack

The music in this game is very action movie style which varies depending on the situation. It's quite acceptable.

The sound of the voices is also quite acceptable and good for a 2008 game. Not everything in this game is perfect, but it's actually one of my favorite games and quite worth playing.

Si te gustan los juegos de acción y aventura con un gran toque de ciencia ficción, entonces amarás este juego.

Prototype es un juego de acción y aventura en tercera persona desarrollado por Radical Entertainment y salió al mercado a mediados de 2008 para varias plataformas. Este juego es uno de los que más he jugado en mi vida ya que de niño me encantaba, además de que era uno de los pocos juegos que mi Pc podía correr en ese entonces. Posee muchas genialidades y novedades que para aquel tiempo eran asombrosas para mi, además de que tiene un gran parecido a los clásicos de Spider-Man.

Historia

La historia da lugar en una extraña compañía en la ciudad de Manhattan. El protagonista de esta historia se llama Alex Mercer, el cual por alguna razón se encuentra dormido a punto de recibir una autopsia por parte de unos científicos.

Estos científicos salen corriendo con mucho miedo ya que nuestro personaje despierta y estos son atacados por soldados armados.

Alex será visto por los soldados quienes proceden a atacarlo, así que nuestro personaje para poder salvarse comienza a correr, pero es alcanzado por balas enemigas, pero tranquilo, no le sucede absolutamente nada. En ese momento Alex descubre que tiene habilidades sobrehumanas.

Jugabilidad

Tengo que decir que este juego lo jugaría mil veces más. Es un juego que poco a poco se convierte en un Sandbox y la libertad que tendrás es muy divertida.

Nuestro personaje posee un cantidad inmensa de habilidades que puedes mejorar cada vez que avanzas en la historia, derrotas monstruos y matas soldados enemigos.

Como ya lo mencioné antes, Prototype es un juego que me recuerda mucho a los juegos clásicos de Spider-Man. Puedes escalar edificios, saltar edificios de un lado a otro, recorrer las calles y puedes interactuar con las personas que ahí se encuentran. Es muy divertido ir por ahí destrozando todo, además de que contiene una excelente historia que puedes seguir a través de sus otros juegos.

Apartado Visual

Recuerdo cuando era niño y mi padre compró una computadora, este fue el primer juego que instalé en mi propio computador. Usualmente me la pasaba en cibercafés y ahí es donde jugaba varios juegos pero Prototype fue el primer juego que instalé con mis propias manos. Y al jugarlo me sorprendí mucho por los gráficos que tenía. Es un juego que casi cualquier computadora puede correr a buenos Frames.

Prototype es un juego con muchas animaciones, además contiene una ciudad repleta de civiles que poseen cierta inteligencia artificial. Para un juego del año 2008 estos gráficos me parecen espectaculares. Si es verdad que los civiles no son muy variados y podemos encontrar varios con las mismas texturas, pero no es mucho de lo que quejarse.

Banda Sonora

La música de este juego es muy al estilo de película de acción que varía dependiendo la situación. Es bastante aceptable.

El sonido de las voces también es bastante aceptable y bueno para ser un juego del 2008. No todo en este juego es perfecto, pero la verdad es que es uno de mis juegos favoritos y vale bastante la pena jugarlo.

Ahora solo tienes que ir a descargarlo y probarlo. Estoy seguro de que te encantará.
