As the expansion of the southern sector continued to take shape, I decided that it was finally time to construct and improve new watchtowers. I knew that if the bandits launched another major offensive and I lacked proper coverage down there, I would have zero chance of mounting an effective defense. Since the new army barracks were already built and fully operational to back them up, I figured it was time to stop overthinking and just start building.

Actually, I placed two new watchtowers a good distance apart from each other, facing outward toward the southern approaches well away from the central urban core. Positioning them this way allows the guards to cover a massive amount of territory and even intercept enemy raiding parties from afar, stopping them before they can even dream of reaching the village gates.

In addition to securing the new frontier, I took advantage of the moment to upgrade one of the existing watchtowers in the central zone of the city, allowing me to recruit yet another soldier to tighten our core security. Naturally, expanding a military force on this scale means I am going to need a much steadier flow of building materials. To prepare for that demand, I upgraded both a mine and a storage warehouse, ensuring that we can accumulate stone, planks, and tools much faster than before.

Furthermore, I have even been toying with the idea of constructing a massive stone wall all the way around the perimeter of the entire village. However, that is still in the realm of speculation and grand future planning for now. I will keep it in mind as a long-term defense project once the current industrial chains are fully optimized.

Nevertheless, the progress we made today feels incredibly solid. The southern sector is no longer just a residential expansion; it is now an armed, fortified district capable of standing up to whatever horrors this frozen map throws at us next. We continue to build, adapt, and survive.

Diseñé la ubicación de dos nuevas torres separadas la una de la otra, encarando hacia el sur y bastante alejadas del centro urbano. De esta forma, los guardias pueden cubrir un montón de terreno e incluso interceptar a los bandidos desde lejos, deteniéndolos antes de que lleguen siquiera a pisar las calles de la aldea.

También aproveché para mejorar una de las torres de la zona central de la ciudad y reclutar a otro soldado más para la guardia. Del mismo modo, sabía que iba a necesitar almacenar y producir nuevos materiales de construcción para sostener este ritmo, por lo que mejoré una mina y un almacén con el fin de acumular recursos mucho más rápido.

Incluso he estado considerando la posibilidad de construir una gran muralla alrededor de toda la aldea, pero eso ya entra en el terreno de la especulación y los proyectos a largo plazo. Lo tendré muy en cuenta para el futuro, cuando la economía esté totalmente blindada.
