➤ Currently there are so many online games that it is impossible not to have one to decide or taste, that also makes me think about how much everything has advanced, but I also like to go back to the past and think about everything I once played, maybe today they are not the best, but for their time they were a step into the future, a step further to entertainment, a step further to what we know today. There are many current games that are inspired or have many bases and ideas from games that once upon a time five hundred years ago were released, (exaggeration). But, how can I forget my first online games.

➤ I think I have already talked a lot about Counter Strike, in fact I think I have mentioned it in several posts about this kind of topics, but it is difficult when I talk about the first online game I played, it is impossible not to think about this jewel. My beginnings in this game were as a child, in a cyber that was part of my family, so I had free access to all computers and all the time I wanted, except when the cyber was full and they had to take me out by force because I never wanted to stop playing, they were pretty hard times for me, I could not play in peace. Counter Strike was one of the most played games at that time, and being in a cyber were 100% assured LAN and online team games, where we all got into a server to annoy other people. I remember very well that the map we always played was fy_iceworld and fy_pool_day, because they were very small maps and we were many people, so it became a total massacre, we even had rules, which was not to use shotguns because they killed very fast. When we invaded servers where normally most of them were deatmatches or by team, we never attacked each other, we could be from different teams but we went together and all the people were looking at us in a super strange way, or even did the same stupidity that we did and we started to dance in the middle of the map, and that was how my incursion began to later become a professional but that's another topic.

➤ The next perfectly was Half Life, although of course, it is easy to say it because it was directly connected with Counter Strike, but to play online Half Life was not so predominant. Still I think it's much more casual and fun, so once in a while it doesn't hurt, especially on the favorite map I'd say of 99% of the community, Crossfire. This map was the best to play online, it has a considerable size and it is easy to find each other so the massacre happens at maximum speed while there were people jumping madly, or using the weapon that throws rays, or throwing alien bugs, it was crazy. Or else the bastard who knew how to bunny hop would come and hit you with a shotgun in the chest without knowing where it came from. The best thing about this map was the bomb, every time someone activated it was insult to death, it was a rule not to activate that nastiness because most people always died, and the one who activated it was backed up in the bunker and was very hard to kill, unless you climb up the towers like a sewer rat. Actually there is even a way to play the Half Life story in co-op, sounds pretty interesting and I want to try it sometime.

➤ I also talked about Conquest once, although very little. This was one of my favorite games and the reason why I currently like MMORPG games a lot, a rather guilty pleasure to be honest, because they are games that require a lot of time, especially if you want to become the best and destroy everyone. I started playing this game with my brother, I was very young and the truth is I didn't know much so in most cases he taught me almost everything, but then I was learning over time until I learned almost the entire world of Conquest by heart, and even quite a few secret things and ways to find the best items. Conquest was totally online, the best of all is that we could choose the server where we wanted to play, most of the people in the cyber also played it so we were always all in the same server and we helped each other, or we created duels between us to see who was better. My brother was one of the best equipped, he had a ninja that would blow you and you were already on the floor. Although later they stole my brother's account but that's another story XD. I got to have a very well equipped pirate, I was the best in my class and in PVP I performed pretty well, but my passion was always to get the best stuff, like the best mounts or things to decorate my character. Still PVP was incredibly fun, or even killing all the NPCs in a city between all of them, it also served quite a bit to level up and to scratch a reputation. When you got to kill a lot of people your name would turn red or black, when you saw someone like that it meant danger. Between my brother and I we created hundreds of characters in Conquest, and we all reached the maximum level and the best teams.

➤ Creo que ya he hablado mucho de Counter Strike, de hecho creo que lo he llegado a mencionar en varios post acerca de este tipo de temas, pero es difícil cuando me ponen a hablar sobre el primer juego online que jugué, es imposible que no piense en esta joya. Mis inicios en este juego fueron muy de niño, en un cyber que era parte de mi familia, así que tenía acceso gratuito a todas las computadoras y todo el tiempo que quisiera, excepto cuando se llenaba el cyber y tenían que sacarme a la fuerza porque yo nunca quería dejar de jugar, fueron tiempos bastante duros para mí, no podía jugar en paz. Counter Strike era uno de los juegos más jugados en esos momentos, y al estar en un cyber eran 100% aseguradas las partidas en LAN y online por equipos, donde nos metíamos todos a un servidor a fastidiar a las demás personas. Recuerdo muy bien que el mapa que siempre jugábamos era fy_iceworld y fy_pool_day, porque eran mapas muy pequeños y éramos muchas personas, así se convertía en una total masacre, teníamos incluso reglas, que era no utilizar escopetas porque mataban muy rápido. Cuando invadíamos servers donde normalmente la mayoría eran deatmatchs o por equipo, nunca nos atacabamos, podríamos ser de equipos distintos pero ibamos juntos y toda la gente se quedaba mirandonos de forma super extraña, o incluso hacían la misma estúpidez que nosotros y nos poníamos a bailar en pleno mapa, y así fue como comenzó mi incursión a luego convertirme en un profesional pero eso ya es otro tema.

➤ Lo siguiente perfectamente fue Half Life, aunque claro, es fácil de decirlo pues estaba directamente conectado con Counter Strike, pero para jugar de forma online Half Life no fue tan predominante. Aún así creo que es mucho más casual y divertido, así que de vez en cuando no viene nada mal, sobre todo en el mapa favorito diría que del 99% de la comunidad, Crossfire. Este mapa era lo mejor para jugar online, tiene un tamaño considerable y es fácil encontrarse entre si así que ocurre la masacre a máxima velocidad mientras había gente saltando a lo loco, o usando el arma que lanza rayos, o lanzandote bichitos extraterrestres, era una locura. O si no venía el desgraciado que sabía hacer bunny hop y te pegaba un escopetazo en el pecho sin saber de donde vino. Lo mejor de este mapa era la bomba, cada vez que alguien la activaba era insultarlo hasta morir, era una regla no activar esa asquerosidad porque la mayoría de las personas siempre moríamos, y el que la activaba quedaba respaldado en el bunker y era muy difícil de matar, a menos que te subas por las torres como una rata de alcantarilla. Actualmente hay incluso una forma de jugar la historia de Half Life en cooperativo, suena bastante interesante y quiero probarlo alguna vez.

➤ De Conquista también llegué a hablar una vez, aunque muy poco. Este fue uno de mis juegos favoritos y el motivo por el que actualmente me gustan mucho los juegos MMORPG, un gusto bastante culposo la verdad, porque son juegos que requieren de mucho tiempo, sobre todo si quieres hacerte el mejor y destrozar a todos. Este juego lo comencé a jugar con mi hermano, yo era muy niño y la verdad no sabía mucho así que en la mayoría de los casos él me enseñaba casi todo, pero luego yo ya iba aprendiendo con el tiempo hasta aprenderme casi todo el mundo de Conquista de memoria, e incluso bastantes cosas secretas y formas de encontrar los mejores objetos. Conquista era totalmente online, lo mejor de todo es que podíamos elegir el server en el que quisieramos jugar, la mayoría de las personas del cyber también lo jugaban así que siempre éramos todos en el mismo server y nos ayudabamos entre si, o creabamos duelos entre nosotros a ver quien era mejor. Mi hermano era uno de los que mejores estaba equipado, tenía una ninja que te soplaba y ya estabas en el piso. Aunque luego le robaron la cuenta a mi hermano pero eso es otra historia XD. Yo llegué a tener un pirata muy bien equipado, era el mejor de mi clase y en PVP me desempeñaba bastante bien, pero mi pasión siempre fue obtener las mejores cosas, como las mejores monturas o cosas para decorar mi personaje. Aún así el PVP era increíblemente divertido, o incluso matar a todos los NPC de una ciudad entre todos, también servía bastante para subir de nivel y para tachar una reputación. Cuando llegabas a matar muchas personas tu nombre se ponía en rojo o en negro, cuando veías a alguien así significaba peligro. Entre mi hermano y yo llegamos a crear cientos de personajes en Conquista, y a todos los llegábamos al máximo nivel y los mejores equipos.
