The Samurai Monastery Myre
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers
It's been quite some time since I've had some proper gaming time, probably around a month. When I mean proper I mean something that I am actually dying to play. Like For Honor, So without further a due. In the previous episode I did the first half of this mission, now for the second half, which felt like it was more of a challenge to be honest!
I am going to share a replay of the first part in this post as well for those who might have missed the first post you can check the first part without having to open the first post on this.
Another thing I want to add is the fact the Viking Campaign feels so much longer than the Knights Campaign why I do not know perhaps they've got more stuff happening in the Viking Campaign.
P.S I forgot to start the recording on the second part, but I only took a few steps so no content was really lost.
My first opponent waited for me in the tower next to the breach in the wall, I went in spears swinging as I was busy tiring myself out, I decided to back up a few steps to regain my stamina and the womanly warrior was waiting patiently by the archway as if meant to mock me by standing on one leg.
She forgets that spears have magnificent reach.
My first approach was the clear the gardens and praying grounds below the tower out first. This way no one can sneak up from behind and but a knife in my back, fighting an uphill battle can quickly lead to death.
I moved as swiftly as I could, of-course making noise didn't bother me, after all I'm heavy footed it would be very hard in the first place. Most of the Japanese never even saw me coming.
Only Death.
Clearing every possible garden root and stem I ripped out the weeds! I even ventured down in to the lower part of the temple, where I found one big Japanese soldier swinging about his club. (That part comes a bit later)
The warriors I met in battle at the temple felt like they were more trained in many ways! They appear to be quicker and more agile and bolder than most I've met on the field. They've put up much more of a fight than I thought these temple guards would!.
Softness of hearts for the Gods needs to be taken with care, for they fight more fiercely.
But the Vikings have always been a fierce and unforgiving people with the true Gods beside us! Watching over us!
We shall prevail, as we always have.
Now this is pretty much where I met the big guy swinging his clubbed mace about! But I got him with a burning desire!
Don't believe me? Watch how the fire cleanses him.
I threw down some Japanese fire explosion device I found in the temple ruins.
Heh. That's why you don't leave your toys lying around!
To say that he was on fire wouldn't really describe it, at first it didn't even seem like he noticed he was on fire still trying to gut me down.
A man bathing in glorious dragon's breath.
Is it worth mentioning that I was able to secure more such "bathing in dragon's breath" attempts.
I think yes.
I've never felt more sorry for temple guards as these three flocking out like flies to a wound!
I've never had it easier than this.
This was the tide breaker moment.
The battle up the tower proved a lot harder than I thought. The small space to swinging around my spear proved challenging. No doubt I prevailed and made short work of most. But catching three soldiers with one swipe felt nice and allowed me to gain some good progression before reinforcements are bound to come.
I finally found the map, funnily enough at the top of the tower. No time for a joyous moment, those reinforcements eventually showed up and failure wasn't an option.
My only chance would be to run!
And run like the Gods themselves depended on it I did!
Naturally, I won't leave a bridge hanging when being chased! Cutting it off was the only option I had.
So down it went.
That's where I left them, gazing at their chance falling away like ash in the winds!
What they don't know yet is the fact that we can now safely cross the Myre and launch a full out attack on their capital.
And they think they're the sly and slicky one's.

What a fantastic game! I really liked the graphics and the screenshots that you shared.
It looks like battling the enemy is a little hard in this game or are you playing in hard difficulty?
If I remember correctly I think it was on hard yes, any higher is realistic and well every now and then I struggle with the bosses on hard so going over to realistic well that isn't an option for me 😂
It's very fun to say the least, and the swordplay is fantastic, can be tricky to pull the moves sometimes but when you do it feels great
This game seriously looks badass and addictive.
I like these RPG style warrior games.
Watching the video clip, the game mechanics are really good too. I would get seriously addicted to this game if I played it 😄
I am very interested in this kind of games, those details of being able to find ways to evade as for example what happened with the bridge, that after crossing it you cut it is what gives life to the game, that allows us to unwind somehow, I hope that when I buy the pc I can download it and have a good gaming experience, greetings!😁
