Finding the mining ETH tech card

That's right, at long last... we wake up for the Eclipse hard fork to have happened and things to be somewhat stable and in amongst the chaos of the problems arising from a hard fork (as expected) we see sitting in the dust, that I had discovered the tech card Mining Operation - ETH. This comes after many months of looking for the wonderful SIM income boost which the ETH one gives 4%, then the others are HIVE giving 2% and BTC giving 6% and something to hold as you grow your daily SIM bigger.

So my total investment is quite a bit of my real money coming up to maybe $600 plus another maybe $200 from HIVE etc, over my time playing and have had times where I would sell some cards or SIM and use the HIVE for other things.

My total value of all the cards roughly, would be around $1800+ AUD but can be more, this is just an estimate because of HIVE price.

The value of investing into a solid passive income

When you do invest into dCity and even a smaller amount, there are many strategies you can use including creating technology cities with some SIM while looking to discover tech, though tech discovery through higher education is a must for all cities, even just to have a chance to randomly gain some each day, buying a bunch of random cards then listing the higher cost ones on the market so once you sell them, you can buy more or make more HIVE back through those sales. Then there are a variety of other strategies with additional ones to come with the release of 3rd edition, when it eventually gets us in the coming weeks (hopefully)!

As you can see from what I have for sale on the market, these 1st edition cards are currently quite pricy but people do buy them up due to being good income cards.

Currently my daily SIM is 7048 with 30% taxes set (8% from income tax based on 3 day SIM price average) but 10% is war tax which I have chucked on for a couple of days now, gaining me an additional 2400+ SIM a day due to having 26 Military Industrial Complexes. Without war tax SIM I get 32 and a half HIVE worth of but add in war profits and it is roughly 43 and a half HIVE

The market value for SIM I am not sure is correct, not sure if it was fixed yet, but I do have a spreadsheet I can estimate value of my cards whenever I update prices and how many cards I have. But based on that amount of SIM it would be closer to 8000 HIVE worth, no intention on selling all my cards as the near $10 AUD a day is a nice passive income for my city until it grows even bigger and makes extra.

Join up on dCity if you are looking to invest even a smaller amount since the cards are there to sell whenever you want too, then work on growing your city with the help of many experienced people in the dCity discord channel that will help you understand it and what some strategies are, or the cards do etc etc.

Congratulations, mate. I haven't touched the technology yet, as I've just been stacking 1st Gen cards, hoping they'll be collector's items in time.

It's a good plan since 1st edition will be stopped and be a much higher value in time!

Beautiful pull! The card is magic if you have some sim income coming through!

I have noticed that most tech cards giving bonuses to SIM are great if you got the stuff for it. Always good getting one you don't have too.

I love this game I’m working on rebalancing my city as my unemployment is pretty high.

That is an important one and harder to maintain when getting a bigger city.
Can't be losing those SIM from unemployment, just got mine down a little more so now it's only -600ish SIM 😂

I keep buying more cards with higher workers but it keeps going up. I’m a bit confused.

Gratz, I've been rather lucky getting some good tier 3 techs on 1-3% discovery rate. That lucks all gone for now it's been a good while since my last tech.

1-3% is a harder one to get them, but early on can get some.
Nice that you did get some T3 techs.
