The death of these is the growth of his power

The day had passed after Octharg sold off loot before resting in Ark for the night and day, knowing he would be heading out the day after, to complete a couple of quests in a location quite a ways out from Ark.

"First will be these two minor quests so my catalog of what needs to be completed, can be shortened some more. After that will be heading up to explore the surrounding areas before cutting back to Ark and getting to the Ark Crypt if I can find it" Octharg happily said as he started arriving near a location a short ways out from the quest area.

Vagrants attacked which did not surprise him due to the lack of visitation to this location. But they would have a tough fight on their hands as was demonstrated by the damage both sides of this fight were doing, making it a tough one to beat without constant movement to avoid being hit.

It was back and forth for some time before finally, our villain got the upper hand and finished the fight, allowing him to catch his breath, heal while walking and find the quest where Silia Foxhand had caged her brother, Milbert Foxhand. All that was heard upon approach was constant arguing from the two and the threats from Silia through an angered voice.

Both were asking for help in this situation with Milbert wanting Silia to be sorted out and stopped, while Silia was angrily telling Octharg to stay back and let her do her thing.

"Sorry Silia but you have gone too far so now, you need to let Milbert go and we can resolve this."

"Like hell you will be interfering and letting him go, die asshole!" Silia shouted before lunging at Octharg for an attack.

Upon Silia's defeat, Octharg had gained a lot of experience and leveled up which has been happening a lot more in these tougher areas and showing just how much he has been growing his power, just constantly improving and slaying all he can in the land of Enderal.

Now that another quest was complete and the other turned out to be nothing it was time to explore further around this location and get ready to head back to find the Ark Crypt, which is easily accessible but told to be full of many rooms, enemies and loot, so you can easily get lost inside and Octharg was excited for that.

So first up to be found was a cave, the Sea Chasm cave which was looking like a smaller one but still worth checking out anyway. Shortly after walking forward once inside, cave trolls were spotted and with their weakness to fire, that is what was used against them and it got Octharg all excited to watch them burn.

"Haha! Take this vile beasts and feel the burning death that I invoke upon you" Octharg screamed.

The small Sea Chasm cave was completed easily and nearby had a broken boat that had been previously washed ashore, some time ago now and was taken over by the lost ones. Another tough fight as there were many of them and there was a lot of moving around while using cover to avoid being hit too much, while slowly taking each of them out and ensuring the area was clear.

"Through the forest I go now, oh look, a cabin. Let me see who occupies it if anyone and if there is anybody I can slay to satisfy more of my sadistic needs!" Octharg said on approach to the cabin.

Inside was a Wild Mage and he does not like them. They have a lot of power so the ice elemental will keep helping to slay them. Luckily this was quick as it was a weaker mage and she got what she deserved, a swift death and handing over the possessions of the dead by means of being picked up off the corpse.

Finally after some time walking and running, it was Arks main gate standing tall in front of him. Octharg was happy to be back, to get a quick top up in the market, sell the few valuable items obtained and move on into the Crypt to try his luck at clearing the dreadful Lost Ones and other enemies lurking amidst its hallways.

The start of the Ark Crypt just had a few Lost Ones waiting for anyone stepping inside. The Ice Elemental started to hit and distract one while our villain drained its life to kill it off, before moving on to a bow & arrow fight to the death!

"This is it, your last chance to stop me going any further because I am clearing you out and then sleeping in the tavern so I can come back in the morning"

The Lost One just grunted and shot another arrow at him before being returned a different arrow, to its chest.

Numerous arrows flew around the room from both Octharg and the Lost One, hits were had on one another and a final blow saw a victorious Octharg. This led to another level up and he proceeded back out of the Ark Crypt entrance area, heading to the tavern so he could get his night of rest to be on his game for this dreadful area.
