How To Earn Extra DEC Rewards For Each Game on Splinterlands

I started playing Splinterlands real early so have been lucky to have many Alpha cards. I admit I’m a hoarder and haven’t really sold many cards since playing the game especially the earlier ones hoping one day it will pay off. When DEC was introduced, the team have told players there are DEC bonuses if you meet certain criteria and one of them was to use Alpha edition cards. Don’t get me wrong, I have cards from all sorts of editions but in this post, I would like to show you that the small % adds up when you play every game.

Here is my team below with a combo of alpha edition cards, rewards & untamed. My earth summoner is the the alpha edition currently selling at $2.41 each on the market at the time of writing. Not cheap as it did go up in price since I first had them.

See my DEC reward bonus under the info section. Winning streak I got 10%. Gold Card used which is my chicken gave me another 10%. Alpha and promo cards also is another category to get bonus in my car 30% and lastly my guild gave me 7%. The majority of my bonus usually comes from my Alpha/Promo category where my main cards used each time game. The cards are expensive at this stage but I see this as a long term investment. They increase in value (from when I had them to know) and gave me bonus DEC for every single game won each day.

Did I mention there are alpha dedicated tournament games as well? These tournaments are for those players with Alpha cards and can battle it out. Don’t get me wrong, the untamed cards are great and I have some but if your main focus is to fatten your DEC wallet, you can consider aiming for these categories to earn extra DEC rewards.
