My entry to “My Garden Journal” Contest for the month of November.

Greetings to this community of gardeners! It's been a while since I've been here. I really always missed the contest submission date but today I am back with my updates. Thanks to friend @riverflows who hosts the contest.

My garden has been very busy, I changed a lot of the physical appearance, as I modified the shelves where I place my plants and I rearranged said plants.

My spinach plant is so lush that weekly I can share with neighbors and friends the big leaves it produces. The seeds are also in every bunch, so I sowed several seeds and all the plants that came up are beautiful. What do you think?

This white rain lily plant has not bloomed since last year, this week it decided to give me its flowers and I am happy about that. I share with you this beautiful flower. It has enough bulbs to keep transplanting and I’m waiting for the lilac lily flower to reproduce as well.

My euphorbia mili is blooming in abundance again. I think the rains from the storms weeks ago have encouraged flower production again on my plants.

This bunch of bananas is starting to thicken up and in a few weeks I will have enough fruit to make my delicious tostones.

The papaya plants are growing but I don't think the production will be in time to be able to harvest and make our delicious Christmas sweet, the green papaya candy.

I have transplanted offspring of my succulent Echeveria pallida and they are all in perfect shape, also the leaf transplants I did on my little Morganianum have grown very well. They are slow growing but I love to see their evolution from a leaf to a beautiful plant like the one I show here.

I did layering of my Mentha Spicata plant. The two plants I layered did well, now I am going for the third layering, I like the smell of Mentha Spicata in my garden and at meals.

The vicaria plants with their flowers, there are three that I transplanted by branches, they are blooming. The cats that come as intruders to my garden have broken several branches of the mother plant but I’m going to plant them today.

The coriander plants, which are very aromatic cilantro-like plants, have come up from seed. They have been reborn from seeds from the mother plants, the mother plants have served to spice up my meals for which I am grateful for their proliferation. They have seeds again and I hope they continue to grow as beautifully as they have so far.

I took advantage of the fact that it was Friday. According to my gardener friend, he recommended planting on Fridays because the plants thrive and come up quickly. I pruned my fig plant and planted three branches and two of them are growing very well.

So far this is some of what I have been able to share of the changes in my garden for this beautiful monthly contest. Here is my beloved pet Meme, he climbed up the tree showing off his great speed to catch the birds that come to eat the ripe fruit of my fig tree… But he can neither catch an inattentive bird nor can he climb down the tree.

His adrenaline allows him to climb but when it wears off he can't find a way down. My son comes to his aid and is able to get him down from the tree… Until he tries again.

Thank you for your comments and visits to my publication.

I invite my friends @coquicoin and @ifarmgirl to participate by bringing their garden updates.

Oh wow! Your garden is so lush and well-maintained, my friend. Even Meme has got the best vantage point to watch your plants by climbing up the papaya tree hehe.

And it's interesting, your gardener friend's idea of planting on Fridays. I am quite taken aback by the challenge coz mine has not been taken care of for sometime haha. But will see what I can do :) Thank you for the invitation :)

Oh, very sorry sis, that was the wrong choice of word. I mean your invitation for us to participate in garden updates. My garden was not maintained, lol

Too bad you don't have to tell about your plantations.

Thank you for the invitation! I'll see what I can do, dear Gertu. I don't have a garden as such, if not some planters. But I will tell you something about them.

But you can do a post about those pots on your balcony that are your garden. Do an update showing beautiful photos of the pots you have and the flowers they have given you. Or if you have a plant that you have followed up, present it. Anecdotes from your garden are also good. I talk to them and sing to them, and ask permission to take me their produce. You can do that!. I invite you to do that.

That's a bit funny about Meme being able to go up but not down. How old is he?

Lovely garden. I am a bit jealous. I have no garden at my new house yet, not one I tend anyway. But I have big plans! so I posted about my plans lol.

I think it's great that you have gardening plans. Planting is such an important thing in my life and I admire anyone who devotes some of their time to have even a small garden.

My meme is a baby. He must be 6 to 7 months old. He is like a child. If I scold him he gets upset. If he cries I have to comfort him. He is adorable!

I will now stop by to see your entry. Thanks for looking at mine.

Boy cats are the BEST! I love them to pieces. Girls are OK, but less loving and loyal. I'm happy you have him.

My meme is male. My son and I love him. We also have another male cat who is now 8 years old. In the daytime he only eats and sleeps. But Meme is as naughty as a baby.

Ha, your cat makes me laugh!! It's funny that he gets stuck up there until he has to be rescued. Your garden is looking really lovely, especially the flowers. What are tostones? I'm intrigued now!

Thank you, this time only plant flowers and no cactus bloomed. It will be for the next one. The tostones are made with a piece of green banana that is crushed and placed with oil in the pan. To fry. It is toasted and eaten with cheese or meat. It is very tasty.
