Advent Drawing Challenge 2020: Fresh Pine

Woody was on his way to the house of Mr. Blackwood for his regular visit so he can eat before hibernating. On his way, he was attracted by a nice refreshing scent of fresh pines. He stopped for one second and enjoyed the moment. He took another moment until he found himself on top of the pine tree sniffing the whiff of the Yuletide season. Fresh pines smell so good so he took just another moment to be there despite the rumbling sounds on his tummy.

Hello creative community,

I am a bit late on my entry today for the second round of the Advent Drawing Challenge, I am still joining though to catch up. I am really grateful for all the support you guys are giving me on this challenge. I appreciate everything thank you.

Here are some screenshots of the work in progress for this drawing:

At first I was thinking of drawing a big pine tree the angle is from the bottom going up. Then, a raccoon sitting on a branch of it seemed so tempting to draw and so I went for it no second thoughts.

I love the outcome of the line drawing and colored it right away. Flat colors for now because I am running a bit late already.

Here is an afterthought for the background. I wanted an all pine background but that would take much of time to do so these little snow flakes will do.

Practice helps us get better each time we try. That is the aim of
