Empowering the Rural Dwellers for Entrepreneurship Strength
This empowerment happens in my local community here in Alok, Ikom Local Government area of Cross River State. The aim of this employment is to assist the youths of the community to have something doing.
Inflation of prices of of goods and services has made things to become very hard for we the youth and also the society at large. A cup of rice is now #200 and transportation has now increased. We don't know what to do, which will help us to succeed.
Looking at the way things are going, Hon. Chris one of the big man we have in our community, has empowered over 70 youths in the community with a motor cycle. The youth were happy for getting such a favour that will help them to survive in this hard times.
The main reasons for this empowerment.
Last months, many youths of the community were involved or caught in the act of stilling and this really brought shame to the society. The elders of the community called the youth's leader and asked what is the mind of the youths? He said, the youths should be empowered! On that note, Hon. Chris Agara moved on to make sure that the motor bikes should be distributed.
The youths were happy because they can now have the opportunity to do business with the new opportunities at hand. I know that with this new opportunity, the youths will increase in businesses and robbing will stop.
I believe that this opportunity will change life and things will be better in the nearest future. My encouragement to all the youth is for them to see how they can utilize this opportunity and make good fortune for themselves, as this will help to reduced unemployment and the rate of stilling in the community.

This is a good initiative. In my community Ifa, one Mr empowerment as they called him empowered 50 young men with motorcycles, registered for them and this has reduced the number stealing that was going on before. I appreciate them so much when they surport others with what they have.
Yes they are really trying to see how to reduce the challenges which people are facing.
They are doing their best now and in the future, the right ruler of mankind will solve all mankind problem.
The chief is a really nice person for deciding to empower the unemployed youths in our country
Atleast some crimes such as truancy, stealing etc will reduce

Good afternoon @justiceanietie you leave me surprised by the similarity of problems that we live in our respective countries.
Here also in something crime was reduced with a plan of "soft" credits granted by the government for the acquisition of motorcycles to perform the activity of "moto-taxi driver".
I hope it is successful in your country and that all those young people know how to take advantage of the opportunity. It was not clear to me if it is a private individual who provided the motorcycles or if it is a government plan.

Empowerment is another ways to touch lives in our society. I am very happy to heard such, over seventy youths in Alok, ikom local government area of Cross River State, empowered with motor cycle. It is not easy . God blessed them
