A Day in My Life Blog: My Friend's Son 1st Birthday Celebration and a Child Dedication 😇🙌🎉🎉

This week was full of events that I've attended and one of them is a Child Dedication and a Birthday Celebration to the son of my friend who has invited me and made me one of the godfathers.

I am happy to be here again and happy to share with everyone my "A Day in my Life" blog post to the event I've attended especially all my supporters whom I always acknowledge just like the admins and moderators of the community. Above all this support, I thank and praise God for everything I do, I offer it to Him alone.

This was another great event I've been invited to attend where a friend of mine celebrated her son's birthday at the same a dedication to the Lord.

It happened last Friday which was a few days ago I was already informed and received an invitation through messenger. And so as the day came, I woke up in the morning very early around 6:00 for me to prepare as the venue was a resort far away which took me more than an hour to travel.

I just arrived at the resort around 9:45 in the morning and as I arrived they were still preparing and the decorations were not yet over. Without any hesitation, I volunteered to help them finish the decorations which supposed to be it will start at 11:00 in the morning.

While we were still decorating, some of the visitors already came especially the officiating minister who would conduct the dedication. We all finished our decorations around 11:00 but the visitors were just a few so my friend decided that we would check first then by 1:00 in the afternoon, we would have our program proper.

Since lunch time has finally come the foods are already served, and the visitors are already here, we are now going to have our lunch. Here are the foods being served.

We can see that there are lots of yummy and delicious foods that are usually served during occasions like this, and also have many cakes and pastries that are very mouthwatering to look at. Indeed we are very full as we eat lots of delicious food in this birthday and dedication celebration.

Now, at 1:00 in the afternoon, the child dedication and birthday celebration has finally started. It started with an opening prayer then a short praise and worship and unexpectedly I was tasked to read the scripture.

A child dedication proper was then initiated by one of my friend's pastors they invited me from the Luzon area, a bit far but they came just for this very important occasion. The Pastor then shared some inspiring and all of us were blessed by the Words of God. A ceremony was then happened to make the child's dedication successful, and glory be to God everything was done around 3:00 in the afternoon.

As the child dedication and birthday celebration were Successfully done, we are now going to enjoy the rest of the day and since we are here in a resort and there is a pool, we never missed the opportunity to swim especially the kids.

Here we are now, enjoying our remaining swimming as at around 5:00 some of us will be going home especially me who will travel a bit far away but still thankful for the short time I have enjoyed the pool here in the resort.

And since it was already 5:00 in the afternoon, I decided to go home as my travel would consume me more than an hour, and glory be to God for the safe travel and I went home safe and sound.
